    Greater than one week

Very cute passway and easy to install but overpriced. The strip between the 2 door is just cardboard. The stencil is also oversized so i suggest cutting the door stencil a little more inside the line

I really do love this product. But when I bought this item is when I moved and I just put it on yesterday. When I was cutting the hole I was looking for the screws and I didnt get any. I had to go hardware store and find the screws to fit it.

Instructions were easy to follow, and installation was easy. Looks good on the door too. Now I can keep the door leading to the litter box closed containing the smell. Would highly recommend.

I have a small extra bedroom that is a dedicated litter room, which is great except that I had to leave the door cracked all the time to allow my five cats access and it was so annoying. Not to mention, these little stinkers could sometimes close the door on each other, and thats just bad news! So I decided to put this cat door in and it was a great choice! My boyfriend installed it so I cant say how easy that was, but he says it wasnt an issue at all and it only took him roughly an hour, mostly because he decided to hot glue the seam just in case my little brats try to claw the door off. Overall, its a cute way to frame a cat door and Im so happy that I bought it!

I installed a Kitty Pass XL about 4 years ago. It was wood, it secured with adhesive strips (still secure), and it was a breeze to install. The new one is plastic and secures with screws. I measured once and ended up cutting three times. First, because it shipped with the small size template. I downloaded the one from the Kitty Pass website only to discover that it was also too small because it is for the discontinued model and does not allow for the screw channels, which take up about another 1/4 of space. After that, it fit and secured fine but looks far cheaper than the original wood model and is not paintable. Kitty Pass blew it.

So adorable, and a fun addition. Not hard to install at all. Try to have an assistant if possible (for the door removal and reinstallation), but I did it myself. Recommendation: cut the template on the inside diameter of the drawing. Not a show-stopper, but it would have been a little better. AND my recommendation gives you wiggle room to make a ¼ mistake. This made of the type of PVC as trim and molding. Light, sturdy, paintable.

We just installed this cat door in our basement. My cats love it. Great product and good price. I didn’t rate the sturdiness at this time because it’s been installed less than two weeks. I’ll revisit this review if needed.

This is a super cute concept. It is a piece of plastic trim that goes over a door cut-out to allow cats to pass through. You make a rough cut in the door, and the trim covers up any imperfections for a clean look! I used a corded jigsaw with a scrolling blade (to enable tighter, finer turns). We put this in a closet in our basement that we are going to use for litter boxes so that we can keep the door closed.

I can say that because I’m a moron when it comes to home projects like cutting a huge hole in your door. After buying a jigsaw, taking a couple of nerve pills - it was easier than I expected with the stencil already in place. Within 10 minutes the door was done. Would highly recommend even if you are on the fence.

Perfect for my big cat to get through. Now my office doesn’t smell like cat litter!
