> 3 dayThis is a great product. Very simple to operate and does a great job tying down loads whether on the roof, in a trailer or in the back of our SUV.

> 3 dayI have 3 kayaks I move from time to time, and I purchased the Thule kayak carrier to go on my Thule rack. I was using a generic REI strap for one kayak, but I didnt realize how much of a pain it was until I started using these. These are simple, strong, and well designed to securely handle kayaks of all sizes. Its worth spending a tad more for these

> 3 dayI own 4 kayaks and have gone through several sets of straps over the years. After much debate about stainless steel buckles, custom strap patterns like Kokopelli, etc. I decided on these 1 Thule straps with the split buckle cover. My buddy Matt swears by these for good reason: Get to your launch site, undo the straps, toss them over the car, and get the yak in the water! The buckle cover protects the cars paint (when you remember to push the covers over the buckles!) and the split makes feeding the strap a breeze. Nice colors, sturdy construction, easy to use. I now own two sets! Id give 5 stars if the buckles were stainless OR the rubber covers were integrated into the buckle like the Black Yakima straps.

> 3 dayPurchased these straps to replace one year old torn straps of a non-thule kayak rack. we have a thule rack already so knew the fabric would hold. So happy to see replacement straps. Received them in quick time. Great deal all the way around

> 3 dayWe use these to carry 7 kayaks on our suburban. I really like the rubber coverings on the metal teeth. It protects the kayaks and the paint job of the vehicle. They tighten easily and have held well on an 800 mile road trip. Will order more.

> 3 dayI dont often do product reviews, but years ago after fumbling about with cheap straps I was advised to buy these, and they are the only strap to use for roof rack carried stuff. I have carried kayaks, surf boards, ladders, etc. They cinch down tight, the covered buckles will not scratch your objects, and they hold tight every time. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekThe buckle protectors come in handy when tossing the strap over the car. The cams can loosen and it takes two hands to tighten, ratchet straps are a better option in my opinion.

> 3 dayThese are excellent for strapping down canoes or such on vehicles. They’ve been around for years and hold up well. They do eventually break down over the years, over ten for me. I’m sure they’re not designed for heavy things, like 4 wheelers.
