The straps are incredibly strong and the locking nature of the clasp is very solid. I drove from Seattle down to SF using the straps to hold a bunch of boards on the top of my car. They didnt move at all for the 13 hr drive. I would highly rec these. I bought some cheaper straps from Amazon and wish I hadnt. These are well worth the money.

we love these to tie down our kayaks and find ourselves using them often for other things. i really like the rubber cover is moveable to tighten the strap and place it back over the buckle.

Just what we needed to keep our kayaks secure on the top of our car. The cover over the metal part protects your vehicle from scratches.

The buckle protectors come in handy when tossing the strap over the car. The cams can loosen and it takes two hands to tighten, ratchet straps are a better option in my opinion.

I have a thule kayak stackers and one set of these straps came with the carrier. it was so much easier and quicker than using ratchet straps that I had to order another set.

Strong strap/ It was a bit short if youre strapping on roof rack. worth the price
