> 3 dayThis is a great vacuum, great suction, nice attachments, I like the free standing ability. I would but it again. Better than my Dyson, the real test will be how long it lasts before parts start breaking. It is on the heavier side which I would say is its biggest fault. I do like how it makes the battery last longer by sensing more dirt then it uses more suction. Battery at max speed lasts about 20 min, using it with the sensing ability about 50 minutes give or take depending on the amount of dirt you have to pick up. The wireless ability is just a gimmick and Im a teckkie... you play with it the first couple times and then forget it. All in all it cleans nice, gives your arm a workout, would buy again.

> 3 dayI was so impressed with certain qualities of this vacuum - but ultimately, it failed to satisfy our use case. For context, we have about 2000 sq ft of wall to wall carpet throughout the house and another 1500 sq ft or so of hardwood with a couple of medium sized area rugs. PROS: - suction power is impressive, to the point where if youre near the edge of an area rug, itll actually try to pick the rug up. Tt can also feel tricky at first to push the vacuum through carpet, because the suction is so powerful - however, once I got used to the geometry and how low to hold the handle, this wasnt a problem, as such. - the way the large brush roll easily separates from the whole brush roll housing is genius. I have a wife and three girls all with longish hair, so the ability to take this piece out and just slide the hair off the end of the brush roll is such an improvement over other vacuums weve had where you essentially have to cut the hair down the length off the brush roll in order to get it off. - having an actual docking station is a nice feature - if you have the floor space for it near an outlet CONS: - the battery is the major issue here. Though advertised as up to 40 minutes runtime, I suspect this figure is taken by running the vacuum in handheld mode (no lower attachment), with minimal obstruction. (disclosure - the subsequent research Ive done leads me to believe this is actually of an industry standard for this measurement). In actual use, with the brush roll assembly, I was able to get between 13 and 17 minutes runtime. - the automatic dust detection/suctions power adjustment feature is a neat idea, but I think its also the main contributor to the battery life issue. I found that on carpets and area rugs alike, the vacuum would run on near max suction exclusively. I even ran some testing where I vacuumed a small section of our carpeted bedroom for several minutes - I would have thought that eventually it would adjust from high suction to lower (once the area was vacuumed), but it never actually did. So what initially seemed like smart efficiency tool, ended up being my main gripe with the vacuum. CONSLUSION: Our primary concern was that the short battery life made vacuuming the entire house a multi-day process, where we could do two or three rooms, then recharge the battery for four hours, do a couple more rooms, recharge, etc. Id imagine that if you had a small/midsized apartment with most/all hardwood floors, this could be a real winner for you.

Greater than one weekThis review is for Tineco Pure ONE S11 Tango which is difficult to find as the listings/names keep changing (today the word Tango is left out but I got the soft roller as well as the brush head for carpet) Im happy with the look, the feel of the build quality, and basic performance. I have not yet used the app, not sure I will. I am comparing it to the Simplicity S65 which Ive had for over 2 years so here are the differences, most of which are negative: 1) The tube is shorter than the S65 and even though I am only 55 tall it feels too short for me. 2) To turn it on and leave it on requires 2 hands - you have to pull the trigger and while HOLDING THE TRIGGER you must use your other hand to move a switch to lock the trigger. This is stupid. The trigger should be a toggle. That locking switch feels a little flimsy to me. 3) The button to open the dustbin feels flimsy. At first I thought it wasnt working but you have to push it harder than you think you should and then it will release. 4) The filters seem like theyre going to be a pain. There are 2 filters - 1 metal, 1 cloth. There is actually a tool you attach to the vacuum to clean the filter. Dear God. No one wants to spend that much time on regular maintenance for a vacuum. If I cared that much about my air quality I wouldnt have pets. 5) The joint where the head attaches to the pole has a big elbow joint that doesnt allow you to reach low under furniture - the head pops a wheelie and loses contact with the floor unless you rotate the pole 90 degrees - another thing that slows you down and makes it less convenient than the S65. See photos. 6) The roller head seems better built than on the S65 - the strips on the edges that protect your floor appear to be better quality - maybe they wont come off & have to be glued back on repeatedly like on my S65. Lesson I learned is never to use the hard floor roller on carpet or rugs - that will pull those strips off. 7) The vacuum came with a wall mount but a lot of people may not want to use that - if they rent they may not be allowed to make holes in their walls so a floor mount should be an option. I havent mounted mine yet and may not. You can make it work in the floor, but not as easy to get the unit snapped in the charger as on the S65. 8) The mini-brush head has a very gentle brush that it says is for cleaning upholstered furniture or mattresses. The brush is so gentle you could vacuum a babys face with it. I use that small size head to vacuum a carpeted staircase so was very disappointed - this wont be able to do that effectively. Ill keep using the S65 for that job. 9) Have not used it yet, but the dusting tool also has brushes that are very short and not very many of them. I cant imagine this will be effective for cleaning anything. I bought this because I wanted 1 vac per floor of my house and also because these lithium batteries reportedly last less than 5 years so I expect my 2.5 year old S65 to stop working in the next 2-3 years. Consumer reports rated the Tineco Pure One as one of the best cordless vacs.

17-04-2025I ordered this to replace a cordless Miele that I do not like. I live in a small condo (917 sq feet) with only bare floors. After extensive research, I chose this Tineco Pure One S15 over the Dyson V12 Slim Detect mainly because of Tinecos free-standing floor charging/storage base. During the unboxing of the new Tineco, I immediately realized that the hand-held part of the vacuum is too heavy for me to use comfortably as a hand-vacuum, and would also be quite top-heavy for daily vacuuming of the floors. I also noticed just from holding the hand-held segment briefly, that the hand-grip area is small and not ergonomically designed. It caused discomfort just in the short time I held it during the partial unboxing, because my average sized hand made contact with two hard plastic protuberances during a normal grip. I could not imagine vacuuming for 15 minutes like that. I did not bother to finish the unboxing, and never fully assembled or tested the vacuum. The quality of the parts seemed adequate, and if not for its weight and the uncomfortable hand grip, I would have looked forward to fully testing the vacuums function. But since I already decided I was not keeping it, I didnt want to use it and return a vacuum with cat hair in it. (Please note if you need to return this machine, you must completely repackage it for shipping, print a label, take it to UPS, and wait up to 30 days for a refund. It is not a simply drop-off return like most Amazon purchases.).

Greater than one weekI got the Pure One 15 after my last 2 Dyson cordless V8 & V10 did not have the the value over time I expect at that price. I liked the standing charging dock and that replacement parts/accessories were more reasonably priced. Wirecutter recommends the Pure one, so I decided to try it out. CR no longer recommends cordless sticks bc arent great value over time, but I have LOVED my Dysons in mint condition. I dont think the suction on this compares to my V8, but the battery is probably comparable in run time. The bin is much smaller on the Pure One. It is much quieter than my Dysons have been which is a plus but Id rather louder and vacuum for 3 minutes than quieter and vacuum for 10. On MAX, it is barely more effective than low or auto settings. And it is MUCH much harder to maneuver. Dyson is a zoom zoom and were done, easy breezy experience by comparison. I find I am covering the same territory back and forth and back and forth which is not a big deal in a small space but would drive me nuts in a larger space. But if it lasts as long as my Dysons, it may be acceptable. I kinda like that you dont have to hold the power on but it does save power when pausing. Im not used to clicking it on/off yet when I pause but I can do a daily spin on one charge in my space so it isnt a very big deal. I cannot recommend to Dyson owners, it is heavier, slower, and all around disappointing BUT if you have no comparison and cant or wont spend on a Dyson, many other reviewers seem perfectly satisfied. Currently, the price is same as V8, without comparable loaded accessories from Dyson. I would recommend V8 over the Pure One for the same price. But that could change if this one performs better over time. The standing charging dock was the deciding factor for me on this purchase. I figured knock offs had time to catch up, but this is not what I would consider competitive with a 5 year old Dyson model V8. I will likely return to Dyson on my next purchase having sampled the competition. I feel better about spending on a Dyson, even if it doesnt last as long as it should for the price. The price/longevity is the only disadvantage of the Dysons. I am actually surprised wire cutter selected the Pure One.

> 3 dayVery easy to use, good suction, and a nice variety of attachments. I have used primarily on hard floors. It’s so much easier than a vacuum with a cord!

> 3 dayIve had my Shark Rocket corded stick for about 4 years. As much as Ive loved it, I really wanted to upgrade to something cordless with better attachments. The design, packaging and quality all exceeded my expectations. For context, I have a very small house that usually takes 20 minutes to fully vacuum. Its all vinyl wood with three area rugs, two very low pile (washable) and one a longer shag length rug. I also have two dogs, short haired, that do shed, but their hair doesnt really stick to anything so its always been easy to vacuum. Cons: - poor suction, unable to pick up small crumbs just under the stove or fridge. - Battery did not seem to last as long as it should and took longer to charge than specified. - Carpet picky. Of my three area rugs, only one vacuumed up well and the vacuum seemed to make no progress on the others. - Difficult to disconnect the parts. Pros: - Good maneuverability. - Great array of attachments included - lightweight and sleek design - docking to charge was simple and the option for a spare battery was nice. Ultimately, I opted to return and try something else. Comparing this vacuum to the one Ive owned for 4+ years I felt like there had to be something better out there.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite vacuum ever. Upgraded from my Dyson V7. This one really doesnt get tangled in hair. It only clogs if I accidentally catch something bigger like a tissue. The light on the front helps me see how good of a job its doing, too. I really like the stand up charging station and the attachments and so on. The battery life is really good so far. Best vacuum Ive had!

> 3 dayFolks who complain about the Tineco S11 Tangos performance didnt do their homework. A product is designed to optimize a particular job. Most complaints are for jobs outside this vacs designed primary purpose. The Tango comes with a specially designed head for hardwood floors. My dog is a huge shedder, so I needed a vac to pick up dog hair on the hardwood floors of the main floor of my 1200 sq ft townhome. I dont have a lot of area to cover, so battery run time is not a factor. And I dont use it for picking up dog hair on my upstairs carpeting. I keep my older canister vac upstairs for that purpose. This vac does exactly what it was designed for, does it well, and is fast to retrieve, use, and put away for recharging. Itll do carpeting but not as well or as long as a corded model. I love this vac.

> 3 dayI needed a lightweight vacuum to do my stairs, and this was perfect! The battery last long enough to vacuum two full floors (about 2500 sq ft). The canister doesn’t hold a lot, so does require frequent emptying. I do appreciate the indicator that tells you when the canister is getting full and the clear indicator of battery left.
