I chose this glue because I am a segmented bowl maker and wanted a bonding agent of high quality. This product has not failed me once. In the gluing process it cleans up nicely with water and a damp cloth. The price is right when you buy in bulk. I highly recommend it for the wood worker interested in a quality glue.

Hands down my go to wood glue. If there was a one quiver glue this would be it. Never glue my wood up without it.

If it is possible to weld wood, Tightbond can do it! Do not wet the work pieces as you might with other types of wood glue. This glue will get rubbery and peel off of wet/damp wood. Work only with dry wood. I us it to build large picture frames with weathered wood and I use no metal fasteners at all. Tightbond sets up very rapidly. You have 5 to 8 minutes to position and clamp. Most work can be unclamped in a couple hours.

    Greater than one week

Go to glue for all my woodworking projects. Except for quick dry and breakable bonds, both of which Titebond has other glues for, this is the workhorse glue. It has about 15 minute set time and I generally wait overnight to fully cure. Much additional processing of the glued parts can be done after several hours of drying.

I have used this quit a bit. I have not had any of my joints come apart with this glue I like to use it with oak and walnut it is a good blend for color when gluing the two together. I also make my own wood filler with it by using sawdust from my sanding. I have found this to make some seamless joints. I do find when used with lighter woods it is a bit dark. glue does need to be used in a timely fashion or you will be just throwing it out. I actually refill my friends bottles with the gallon sharing the cost. If it starts to lump I use it up quickly and give it away to my friends. A smaller bottle would be a better buy if you do not go threw it in a couple months or so.

If only my parents used this for their relationship. You could glue two unicorns together. Love this stuff.
