Greater than one weekI might have too many things on my WiFi, but this worked fine for a few weeks, thenit just shut off and wouldnt come but on. I did the cave man shake, bump and multi button push and it came back on after being unplugged for 15 minutes. Working fine again. We will see.

> 3 dayOutlet is very easy to setup and Ive used many different brands before. Literally takes about 1 minute to add and name the device with bluetooth and wifi. Another brand I used that was similar discontinued the energy monitoring part of the outlet due to chip shortages. Tried this brand in its place and worked great. I used the Smart Life app to monitor both sets of outlets. Is great to use not only for wifi controller but monitoring power. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the internal wifi is ok but not great as far as reception. They can be sensitive to barriers / furniture in the way. However this is pretty common across the board for all smart outlets. And no its not my wifi, I work in IT and have a very nice wireless AP.

> 3 dayThe outlet works just like any other smart outlet out there. I recommend setting it up with the Smart Life app as it is the most universally compatible. I have things setup so that when it is time to wake up, my lights turn in and my desktop boots up. You do not need to work with electrical wires, the max wattage is the same as the outlet you plug it into and it is compatible with ittt, Google, and Alexa! The icing on the cake is that it has an accurate energy meter built in. It doesnt update often enough for you to do Gamer Nexus total system power charts but you can get a good idea of your systems energy requirements. My roommates and I have a challenge to see who can use the least energy with our gaming rigs. Last month I used 36kw while they use 72kw! Every little bit helps. I only wish I could measure appliances as well.

> 3 dayThese devices are very convenient for short term checking of energy usage. I ran into the same issues as everyone else with the devices randomly rebooting into an OFF state, so do not depend on these unattended.

> 3 dayThis TopGreener smart outlet plug helps me remotely power my troublesome furnace OFF and ON from anywhere. My ten year old Bryant high-efficiency furnace has an intermittent problem. When the thermostat calls for heat, the furnace does a startup cycle of running a purge blower, then igniting the burner. The burner doesnt always ignite and the furnace shuts down. To make it try again, the power switch must be turned OFF, then ON. Once in awhile, this has to be done twice. We have had a service tech out three times, but the furnace always behaves when hes here. Last winter, we were overseas, visiting family. I checked our smart thermostat and saw it calling for heat, but the house was dropping below 60 degrees. Several times, our daughter had to go to our house and turn the switch OFF, then ON to reset the furnace. I needed to find a way to do this from anywhere. Smart switches that I found seemed to be intended to control lights and/or didnt have the capacity to run a gas furnace. I needed to find a smart device with a 15 amp capacity. I chose the TopGreener smart outlet rated to operate appliances up to 15 amps. I also wanted to be able to bypass the smart device, just in case there were any problems. The photos show what was done. The smart outlet plugs into a single receptacle that is always powered. The power cord from the smart outlet is connected to the three-way switch. The Common terminal of the three-way switch is connected to the bottom switch to power the furnace. The remaining three-way switch screw connects to the source power. Thus the three-way switch will power the furnace from the smart outlet or constant power. The TopGreener Android app works very well. The only issue I had was trying to initially pair the smart outlet. The paper instruction sheet packed with the smart plug is correct and worked. After set-up, it was easy to rename the smart outlet. It works well with Alexa, but the instructions were a little confusing to me. But I confuse easily. The ultimate test was when I contacted a friend across the ocean in Guam, and asked him to install the app and try to power my furnace ON and OFF. It worked!

> 3 dayAt a time when several vendors of smart plugs and switches are locking down their firmware, TopGreener still allows reflashing with Tasmota which made it easy to integrate into my Home Assistant system. The tasmota template is the same as their TGWF115APM and I have submitted it for inclusion. The size and shape allows two of them to be plugged into the same outlet. Im not going to use it with Alexa so I couldnt comment on that feature and I dont know why Amazon is asking me to rate the warmth of the product :-)

06-04-2025Purchased looking for monitoring plug that would still work with Tuya-convert. While only 10A, they do still work with Tasmota!

> 3 dayThese are off by default when they are powered up so dont use this on fridge/freezers because if there is even a short power outage these will stay off and your food will get spoiled if you dont notice. They work well otherwise and allowed me to determine the actual power usage of appliances and turn them on and off remotely.

02-04-2025I got the two pack of this on a deal. it came out to about $20 each. I like that the set up was easy. The feel of the product seems sturdy and heavy duty. I like that it is 15A and I can run a small space heater on it during the winter. I use it to turn on a lamp in the living room while I am away to let people think that someone is home. The only thing I dont like about it is the size. It is much bigger than I thought it would be. I can see how its size would be a problem if the outlet is near furniture. But once you put it on the wall, you leave it there and you dont think about it anymore.

> 3 dayWorking all over the house with no booster in the router. worked on the fridge till I pushed it back against the wall. Fixed that by plugging it into a power strip on the side of the fridge. Freezer and torch on back porch no problem. Power usage very useful info. Probably need to replace the fridge. I have the app on my phone and tablet. the tablet seems more responsive than the phone when you touch an icon. I have 11 of these in use now. most of them the square ones. two fit in a wall socket. The 10 amp rating has been no issue even on the fridge or freezer.
