Unable to receive local public service activity. Completely useless. Programming with RR/premium yields a relatively ugly paperweight that simply never makes any noise ... Oh well...

Uniden makes good quality stuff, I can’t give less than 5 ⭐️‘s for something I’m sending back only because I can’t program it to do squat, but play fm radio tunes.. Graat* I bought a $300+ radio... Brush up on your nuclear algebraic physicist equations first if you plan on mentally torturing yourself by buying this. Maybe study time travel too perhaps, it might help. If you know how to operate this radio, tell the peeps at NASA I said hello.. *”GOVERNMENT” WARNING* *Wear an aluminum hat when in use*

I purchased this scanner. Im very unhappy with it. Battery life is lousy 3-4 hrs tops out of rechargables and alkalines. And programming either by software or manually, youll still get talkgroups from other locations you didnt program into the radio. Will be returning to buy a 436HP.

All I can say is Im impressed! This little scanner really pulls in the distant signals. I have been a scanner enthusiast over 40 years and have owned several BearCat scanners along with Radio Shack radios. I also own a SDS200 and the BCD325P2 gives it a run for the money when it comes to reception. The SDS has many more features but the BCD325P2 being a 335 buck radio is well worth the investment. I highly recommend a radiorefference.co subscription and also purchasing a license for the ProScan software. After doing so, I had the scanner receiving all of the local area channels in no time. Note that depending where you live, you may need to upgrade to the DMR, ProVoice or NXDN license to listen in your area. I often listen to my 325P on the carport under an aluminum canopy with the included rubber duck antenna and pickup channels 30 mile away as the bird flies. I highly recommend the BCD325P2 scanner.

This scanner is impossible to program without a lot of training. I expected with modern tech that I would just sync it to my computer and it would sync the necessary frequencies for my local trunked system. Not so. It says its programable via PC, but the software is not from Uniden and obsolete. I was trying to replace a nearly 30 year old Radio Shack trunk tracking scanner that was simple to program. I will be returning this. Update: Purchased the SDS 100. While it is twice the cost, it is well worth it.

This scanner works well and is easy enough to program with the provide cable.the only downside is that large trucked systems can be difficult

The batteries it comes with need replacing. But the unit is fantastic! I use it daily with no issues at all. Use with chirp to program, makes it so much easier. But replace the batteries.

The scanner works ok. The keypad on the one I bought was loosing its paint off the keys. Was hard to read with little use. I told Uniden. I read others have the same problem on RR. You need to get good rechargeable batteries. Two dont last long. I have many scanners, this is the only one that I have ever had where keypads were junk as far as holding the print. They wear off with little use.

Works perfectly. Controls are what they are, and they are ok, but not great. Unless you have a lot of spare time and patience, you are going to need to also buy software to program this, and likely a subscription to a scanner frequency database.
