> 3 dayUpdate: had this for a couple of weeks now and returning. The attachments for mopping are very short making it awkward to use. The plastic handles are very uncomfortable in the hand and have given me blisters every time I use it. And it struggles to clean soap scum off the shower. Going back to dawn and vinegar. The one thing my wife thought she would use it for, sanitizing baby stuff, proves to be inconvenient compared to the microwave bags. Overall, its just not worth the money. Disclaimer: Weve only owned this for 3 days, and used it 4 times. Short Version: It appears to be a quality product that cleans well. I recommend the product if youre in the market for one. Great if youre looking for a green cleaning alternative, are sensitive to chemical fumes, have a newborn (steam sanitizing toys etc is convenient), or want to save money on conventional cleaners. Long Version: If youre looking for a miracle cleaner, this isnt it. We originally purchased to try and clean a bad stain in the stove. Worked on it for about 20 minutes with the brass brush and it barely budged. However, we have a newborn and my wife is concerned with bleach and vinegar fumes in the house. We decided to give this machine a go in the bathrooms, and were pleasantly surprised. It cleaned EVERYTHING in the bathrooms with ease. Initially I felt like it cleaned the bathrooms in half the time it usually takes, but then I realized I wasnt accounting for the warm-up and cool-down time. So it does save elbow-grease time, but overall you still have to prepare to use it then store it. The 2 main items I was most pleased with was the mirrors and behind the faucets. Our master bath mirror had a haze on it we just couldnt get rid of, but this got it crystal clear (still had to wipe with paper towels though). There always seems to be some hard-to-get-to funk behind the faucets, and this blasted that area clean too. Overall, Im pleased with the purchase. Hopefully its durable and lasts, time will tell.

> 3 dayThe steam cleaner itself is great, but the attachments are junk. I have had multiple pieces break and melt and the company is not generous in fixing the problem. I am no longer able to use the cleaner because of broken pieces and I’ve only had it a year.

Greater than one weekI have used this steamer for everything. Originally purchased to battle a bedbug infestation, it literally destroys any and all bugs with super hot steam. I have used it to steam all of my carpets, mattresses, walls, bathrooms and even to clean my BBQ grill. Super long power cord and carrying handle make it easy to move around a room. Lots of accessories, each for a specific task. I absolutely love the floor steamer. The steam really brings carpet back to life. The only word of advice is to take care when filling with distilled water. DO NOT OVERFILL. As long as you dont over fill it, it doesnt spit water, it just dispenses steam. I highly recommend it!

Greater than one weekI bought this after reading all the positive reviews and I had high expectations. I will list where I used the steamer and how it performed in those areas. Floors: I immediately used the floor attachment to mop my floor and I gotta say that I was not impressed. It cleaned my floor, but it did not easily remove stuck on food that was on the floor. I even hovered the steamer on top of the stain for a couple of seconds and it still did not come off. It took some scrubbing (the floor attachment is a brush that you just put a pad over) and various passes over the food for it to come of. Stove top: I then used it on my stove (with is what I mainly bought it for). I only used steam and did not use the provided brush heads and it did very little on my stove. Some grease did come off but my stained stove top is still stained. I also want to add that these are not old stains as I just moved into my apartment 2 weeks ago. So I was not impressed that it could not even remove recent stove stains. I will have to go back and clean those stains since it did not clean well. Carpet: I used the steamer to remove stained areas on my carpet where the ATT cable guy had left tracks of some type of dried up figs (there is a fig tree by out apartment). In this area the steamer worked wonderfully! I just sprayed a little steam over the area and went over it with a rag and it cleaned up the stain nicely. Toilet: I used the steamer to clean the toilet and it preformed fairly well with just the steam and a rag to wipe up the mess. Keep in mind however my toilet is not that dirty but it did have stains from my toddler missing the toilet when he peed. Mirrors/Widows: This is where the steamer performed HORRIBLY IN!! The steamer would throw out more water than steam and there were streaks of water coming down my mirror! It especially did this when I was first pressing the steam trigger after letting go for awhile. I had to stop steaming because it was making a bigger mess than it was cleaning. Couch: I then used the floor attachment and rag (clean one) on my couches. Keep in mind my couches are microfiber so they are supposed to clean easily. Well once again the steamer through out more water than steam at times and parts of my couch ended up extremely wet. However, it did clean them fairly well (only leaving an occasional stain behind). I think this is where the brush on the floor attachment works well (this is the same attachment used on the couches). Overall, I think the steamer worked OK. It really annoyed me that it literally squirted water out instead of steam at times. Keep in mind also that I did not use any of the small brushes that came. And that the handle can also get too hot to even hold which for me is a problem since I have arthritis so I would have to wear gloves. I have my reserves of whether or not I would purchase this unit again especially at its not higher price (it went up over $7 since I purchased it on 07/24/12. However, I am keeping it and do not hate it enough to go through the hassle of returning this big unit to amazon.

> 3 dayI had my past steamer die in only two years. I had started a home improvement project of cleaning a tile floor and the removal of wall paper. The steamer I had orphaned my steamer so I took a chance on this unit . Price was right and the variety of tools got my interest. It turned out to be just what needed. Time will tell if it holds up to my expectations.

> 3 dayI like that you can it on almost everything. I used it on kitchen floors baseboards and cabinets also on the stoves exterior. Steam cleaned the whole bathroom. Only problem Ive had with it is having to stop cleaning to let the steam build back up. But overall love the product and the attachments come in real Handy.

> 3 dayIve had this for about a month now and have used it weekly. I must say the steam is for sure hot, and it does push it out very well. But, once its with the initial heating cycle it will push boiling water out for a few seconds and then the steam will come. The unit itself will also become pretty warm so beware of its placement so you dont have to move a hot machine. The tools also become pretty warm so be careful if you need to switch them out. I will probably only use this to clean hard surfaces and car upholstery. I tried using it to steam some shirts but it misted them with water and steam so I ended up with wet shirts. Its not a bad product but it is not perfect either..I would say its worth what you pay

> 3 dayThis should go w/o saying: but make sure you know the material is safe to steam PRIOR to using. Obviously read your all of your manual PRIOR to using. ( My surfaces were fine) Purchased a few weeks ago. Finally used it in a couple of different ways: in bath used on tile in showers / bathtubs & sinks & floors on hardware. Worked great for all of these ..I used the smallest sprayer nozzle for all these areas ( other than the floors) While it didn’t take my grout back to its original clean —it did lift off a very good amount of surface soiling. You could definitely tell the difference. I also used on my sealed wood floors & again you could really tell they were MUCH cleaner. The ONLY con(s) would be 3 things thus far : Biggest for me was : that handle is hard on the hands & if you use it for the entire duration of a steam ? Your hand will feel it due to hard surface of the handle. I will probably use some type of glove next time I use it. Other design flaws? The short cord. Of course I used w the proper /approved extension cord & also ? You have to really eye ball when filling the tank bc you don’t have visible tank line. None of these are deal breakers to me for the price point. Overall? For the money? This steamer ( so far) is definitely worth the it! It provides a decent amount of steam and power to clean. The manual says you get about 40 min of steam I found that to be accurate. I like that I don’t have to use chemicals to clean. So far I would recommend!
