This is great for sliding door tracks, which are notoriously hard to clean. Cannot say the same for my stovetop though. I normally give my stovetop a good scrub often enough that stuff is not caked on, but one time I did not wipe up a spill immediately and it did get cooked on to the stovetop (gas stove). I tried to use the firm, round cleaning brushes this came with, and both of them just had their bristles get clogged up with greasy food residue that I cannot get rid of. Ive tried soaking them in hot soapy water, running them through the dishwasher...not sure how to get the brushes clean again. (They also did not do a great job on the stove top, I still had to use a cleaning agent for that after this didnt work). I have yet to use all the attachments and use this machine to its fullest extent.

Good for small spaces, definitely not your kitchen floor

I really like this appliance. It makes quick work of sanitizing, and depending on cleaning activity, helps a great deal, especially if grease is involved (grill, kitchen vent hood, etc), to hit it with steam first. If you steam iron a dirty shirt, it may take out the wrinkles and odor, but its still dirty. So running steam with this appliance over a kitchen surface will NOT make it clean, BUT will sanitize the surface and soften hard, dried organics on the counter top to help make removal easier, but alone, this appliance does NOT clean in the traditional sense ..but it wasnt designed for that purpose either....it would need a vacuum or pick-up capability built-in to achieve. If the above is understood, then there are a lot of tasks where this comes in handy. Yes, traditional steam treatment of most surfaces already makes this appliance useful for almost everyone, but I found a few other great uses. 1. This thing kills bugs using the steam nozzle. I used to need to fumigate our couch when a flea or two was brought in by our pet, now I can steam kill them...the key? Long steam exposure...a quick shot of steam will not suffice....but even after literally 1 whole minute, which is all it takes, but is hard to do in reality - it really is a long time, is just water droplets that evaporates quickly. No chemicals and no oders...just need 40 fl-oz of distilled water...something that never expires 2. Car Engine degreaser...and with the extenders, you can get to places in the engine bay that an areasol can cant reach. I wouldnt recommend using this in your interior, unless you have absolutely no electronics or seat motor exposure...but even, an abundance of caution is still in order. ....youll find more for yourself.... Remember, this uses water, so if the surface being exposed cannot handle water, find another means to clean it. Also, technique is key to results...and if you find that this is not doing the job, maybe rethink the technique, where technique may include adjusting exposure time and/or the appliance tip being used. I got this to clean around the condo. It worked OK on white small bathroom tiles. It worked great on shower head gunk and faucet areas. The steam cleaned the mirror just needed a dry towel to wipe and it shines. I did use it to spot treat carpet and a little stain removal this damps the carpet and removed an old stain. Inside the oven it worked well on the bottom and sides and took 3/4 the stains from the grate and made it easier to finish by hand. I havent used it in the car yet but I believe it will clean the steering wheel and handles based on its performance after 2 months. Use the distilled water so it doesnt clog the nozzles.

With out having one, I had high expectations of the power steam of this machine.. Ive had it for a few days now, I must say it is good! And it really HELPS a lot with the hard to do cleaning (shower, stove, oven) But, as everything (I guess) you still have to do a lot of prep and elbow grease.. The shower for example, I noticed that I still had to spray a quemical, otherwise by the steam alone doesnt really work as desired. The Oven (it was really BAD), I had to let it soak with easy-off for an hour, but once I used the steam my only worry was to pick it up from the floor where it all ended.. I have not yet done a second round, where I am guessing (maintenance) would be a lot easier. I pointed the steam to my oven thermometer and it doesnt really come to the temperature the manual says it does, but it works. Because the steam comes out with pressure, it does help by blowing (pushing) all the dirt, scum, away and loosens it up.. but.. You still have all that goo elsewhere, is not like it picks it up.. So when I did my windows they looked great, but my wall underneath had to have a treatment after that as well.. All the dirt came running down the wall. The brushes are really good, but they are really just to lightly brush and help the steam, not really to scrub with them, as they get really damaged under the steam if you apply to much pressure while using them, making them almost obsolete after one heavey use. I will replace them, but my advice is to use them to lightly brush while steaming. Over all it is great to have it, windows and mirrors come out really good and with out any lines after it dries. (thats a plus). (I wish I could clean my TVs and PC monitor with them LOL, DONT DO IT) My oven is now shiny clean, and I do hope that by using the steamer after I bake it would keep it nice and clean. I cleaned the cover of my couch with it and it is GREAT, but again, you have to be carefull as to where all the dirty water goes, or the dirt will just set on another spot. Truly if someone else is helping you to absorve with a towel all the running water that leaves behind is a lot better and easy.. It is hard to clean and stop to wipe.. I have not use it for anything else, but so far it works good. Good luck to all.

After reading a bunch of reviews I decided to buy this steam cleaner after my small one randomly stopped working. Some of the reviews said it makes a loud nose, mine has not done that. I did buy a large jug of distilled water to use in it like the directions say. It produces lots of extremely hot steam!! Very easy to put together and take apart. Cord length has been just fine for me, I’ve even steamed my carpets with no issues. Would definitely buy again!

This spits a lot of water so if your trying to detail a car you need to spray out into the air first so you dont saturate the seats

The Wagner 915 lifted the dirt off my linoleum floor. It whitened my brownish shower stall grout. Oven and BBQ grease melted away against 100 degree of steam. The bathroom sink and toilet did not have that strong chemical smell from cleaning products after a thorough steaming. With a bit of scrubbing effort plus vinegar, hard water deposits comes off tile and shower floor eventually. Glass and mirror cleaning is a breeze. More importantly, steam cleaning is now a fun chore that everyone in the family is lining up to do. Steam cleaning has its limits. My BBQ cooking grate has several layers of caked-on, baked-in char, short of chiseling, steaming failed miserably. It will work on week old grease but not years of major charring. Care must be taken when steaming next to labels of the BBQ controls. They peel right off after a good steaming. My wish list to Wagner is to have a trigger guard so you dont accidentally let out dangerous steam when putting the nozzle down or against something. Thats why guns have trigger guards as well as safety locks to prevent accidental firing. The brass brush should be stored brush side down to prevent from accidental finger poking. It starts to hurt after getting poked ones or twice trying to fill the tank with water. There should be a level fill mark to indicate how much water is there. This is important so you extend the life of your heating element and tank. The red and green indicator lights are hard to see when used under bright sunlight. Steam cleaning indoors can be quite loud so invest on ear plugs, ear phones or ear muffs. Otherwise, the Wagner is a good steam cleaning appliance. I like the long hose that holds up to stepping and crushing. The plastic material used for the attachments is reminiscent to the industrial grade Kirby vacuum cleaners. Everyone talks about how short the cords is but it really does not bother me. I just got myself a good extension cord. Use of distilled water might turn-off some potential buyers. I want this baby to last a long time so I will continue to use distilled water. I like the transparent rubber guard protecting the on/off toggle switch. Im quite sure thats there for our safety and protection. I didnt mind investing on cheaper small white towels specifically for wiping and/or floor cleaning. The floor scrubber has large enough clips to hold almost any towel material. As long as the width of the towel spans the scrubber, it should work. I find the Wagner 915 ECO Green, and a very good cleaning machine.

The steam cleaner itself is great, but the attachments are junk. I have had multiple pieces break and melt and the company is not generous in fixing the problem. I am no longer able to use the cleaner because of broken pieces and I’ve only had it a year.
