I should have bought the shorter set. I probably only needed 2” total added. Instead I can only use 1 extender on one side. It would be stronger with 2 1” extenders on either side.

Had to install these in the vertical position, but they work great and solve the issue of my goldens being able to knock their gate down with ease.

I needed an odd size dog gate for my hallway. The gate I wanted would have been stretched to its limit and the next size up was too wide to fit. Using Wall Nanny gave the smaller gate more stability, because I didnt have to screw out as far to keep the pressure on. It also helps from the gate pressure from marking up my walls. I did have to rig a little wire, because the space from the wall was large enough for my mini dachshund to squeeze through... But she is a little Houdini. Our other animals were contained. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought these for my baby gate because we have a wide staircase. Not only did it allow us to use the baby gate, but the extenders worked perfectly! A must have if your gate is not long enough!

Just got these in yesterday and installed them immediately! They work great and are sturdy. Saved me a decent amount of money, since I didn’t have to buy an entirely new gate.

My gate is very old and thought I was going to need to buy a new gate. the extender that came with my gate just made the gate even more unstable then I found these and thought Id give them a try. They worked perfectly and made the gate more stable then it has ever been. My gate is at least 10 years old and I expect it to last another 10 years or more now with these great extenders. I now need a set of the ones that protect the wall but doesnt add any extra to the width of the gate. They really do help protect and make the gate more stable so Ill be getting more soon. Thank you for making these they will save me a lot of money since I wont have to buy new gates anytime soon.

If you need a wide to sort of widen a baby gate without buying an expensive extender these will do. We use a baby gate to keep our dogs from the second floor and our gate (w/these extenders) lives at the top of the stairs. It doesnt feel super stable, but our dogs wont dare lean on or press on the baby gate so... I will likely check the tightness of the gates little adjusters every so often to make sure theres the right amount of pressure. I think in the right wall situation these could be sturdier (Like will these be up against a flat wall as opposed to baseboard/trim?) or if you dont need to extend the gate adjuster thingies out too far. Apparently, our threshold area is super wide? For a tag sale baby gate this will do fine.

If you are like us and only have awkward places to put a baby gate, these make life so much easier. We have 1 on either side of the baby gate at the bottom of our stairs (which has to be put up between the posts of the handrails - there aren’t walls) and 2 on either side of the baby gate leading to our basement and mud room (a hallway that is extra wide). The wall nannies add stability and a few extra inches of width to give the baby gate that you thought was too narrow a chance to work! Before I found these I thought I would have to buy whole new baby gates. These have saved us a lot of money and trouble.

PERFECT product, just what we were looking for! Our gate was already an extended version but the walkway between the front and the back of the house was just a little bigger. We got by with an old plank of wood which unfortunately would stick and take the paint off our walls (as seen in the picture) to make it try and fit the space. The dogs would run into it or try to climb over the fence and it would slip and fall down and damage our walls. Cue these amazing little things! We were able to not only get rid of the mismatched plank of wood, but the gate is seriously sturdier than ever before and we don’t have to extend the screws out nearly as far. Didn’t even have to screw these extenders into the wall, they are wide enough that they distribute the pressure better than the wall damaging feet, and the rubber backs really are sticking well. Even took down the gate and no paint went with it, so I’m excited to actually touch up the wall now since it’ll stay. Great idea

It lets my cats through without issue, but keeps larger pets behind it. It works prefectly
