Have used Webroot Security for three years and have been very satisfied. It doesnt pick up malware as well as Malwarebytes software, but my previous security software suite also came in second place compared to Malwarebytes. The customer support with Webroot is excellent, in part because you are speaking with tech people in the US who can speak native English and are not reading to you from a manual.

SCAM! Do not buy this is a complete scam! I’ve always used webroot and love it, and decided to buy this and it was the worst decision I ever made! Nothing downloaded nor the the keycard work on any device!

Powerful threat finder but doesnt do well on Time Machine back ups. Will find threats on backup drive but cant remove them. It seems that all the popular Virus remover software have the same limitations with Time Machine. The big negative for me is that you cant select a single attached drive to scan. The choice is to scan everything including all the attached drives or just scan the main drive. I would like the ability, like some other virus software, even free virus software, to scan individual drives or individual folders or directories or even individual files.

4th year for using Webroot. Highly recommend. I ignore the Webroot attempts to get you to purchase from them and buy from Amazon. If you activate a new keycode note: you will not lose current subscription time, it simply adds on the new subscription to it. To install it is simple: Open the Webroot window on your desktop, go to My Account and click on the wheel to the right of it. This brings up an open section to enter your NEW KEYCODE, click on Activate below and you are done. If you have the actual software disc which I prefer, you do not have to use it, just the keycode. Several reviews have wrestled with this. Never have had a security issue with this software!

I checked reviews from the top rated security programs and this one rated the highest. I have only had it a short time but it seems to be working real good. I got the one that secures 5 devices because I have many devices that needed it, i.e. laptop, desktop, phone, tablet, etc. so it was nice that it covered everything. The only annoying thing was it kept notifying me on my phone that I had security, but I put it in the background so it wasnt showing up all the time. I prefer it to work in the background. Other than that I have had no problems with it.

Buying directly from Webroot is foolish as their pricing structure is so expensive. I was able to get this at half the cost.

Solid product, my 2nd year buying it. Buy one of these instead of renewing. Cheaper and simple restarts or extends existing service

Webroot has caught many threats to my computers. It works automatically and can also be worked manually. Their are also some settings that users may choose from that may cover some special concerns. It is fast as it is configured. But I found one threat that it had missed by going directly to the whole operating system, C: drive, and start the app from there. It took a long time to run that way, and it only caught one threat. I plan to use it this way only twice a year. And I will renew my contract soon. UPDATE - 10/17/15: All of the above is or was true, Im jut angry with them. The CD they sent me would not accept the Product Code, the on line help is all robotic. I wasted two hours and got nowhere. Im leaving the 4-STARS posted, but Im sending the software back and changing my digital security to Norton.
