Greater than one weekUpgrading my boot drive from an SSD to an m2 drive has been an absolute game-changer. Installing it on my motherboard (ASUS z370-P) took about 15 seconds and changing my boot drive to the M2 did require me to change a few settings on my bios (easy 5 minute google search) to optimize performance. Other than the time to install Windows 10 again and set up my system, I had this up and running in under 30 minutes of total manual set up time. Ive run several data transfer speeds for both editing large video / photo files as well as booting up several data-heavy games (running a RTX-2080) and I was able to transfer ~90gb worth of data between my two drives in less than 3 minutes. The price of m2 drives seem to be coming down significantly lately so this is a good time to grab one. Additionally, booting up my computer now takes about 4 seconds instead of 25.

> 3 dayThe storage and speed of the drive for the price is very good. But…. I had a major hassle getting it to work on my MacBook Pro 13” Retina mid 2014. The SSD was not recognized. Not in Disk Utility or in Terminal. I ended up buying an external NVMe enclosure and installing MacOS in recovery mode on it that way then putting the SSD in the computer. I’ve heard of some people not having this issue so I’m not sure exactly what the issue was. My guess would be that it was a firmware thing. I did see on a Google search that someone said about doing the firmware update but it had to be done on a PC. Not an option for me. The SSD does appear to run a bit hotter and the battery life is drained a bit more too.

> 3 dayThis is a great boot drive. I go from posting to desktop in no time flat. Very happy with speed. Size is about small for modern games. Get a mass storeage for that or shell out for a larger SSD.

> 3 dayTo be honest I bought this for my PS5. Turns out they dont quite support these yet. Waiting on software update now. I ended up installing this in my Gaming desktop. performs better than expected. I will buy another later on for my PS5, maybe a 2tb next time.

> 3 dayOne of the best m.2 ssds that Ive seen for the price. It literally took me (first time pc builder) 20 seconds to install. Just to know, the drive is 500Gb but only 460gb is usable. Great for budget builds.

> 3 dayLlego muy rapido el pedido a colombia embalaje perfecto y su velocidad es segun lo prometido muy rapido y buenas temperaturas( 44 grados celsius) en juegos se nota totalmente la diferencia versus un HDD con un SSD la diferencia no es mucha

> 3 dayWD Blue is a sweet spot for HD storage and I can highly recommend it with no compunction. Its very modestly priced (cheaper than WD black and samsung) and provides a great gb/$. These m.2. drives are my favorite since their release, super easy to install on your mobo, NO WIRES! Fast boot speeds concomitant with their price. Really really hard to beat WD Blues, 5/5.
