Arrived fast and in perfect condition. Installed on mainboard socket as boot drive for Win10. OS setup went quickly and has worked perfectly since. No signs of overheating, but later installed an Eluteng double-sided aluminum heatsink to insure coolness. Very fast boot drive, about five seconds from button push to desktop ready. Im HAPPY!

I was not sure if this product will work with an older computer Dell Optiplex 5040 from 2016. I did my research on line with Dell and WD and still i did not have a clear answer if this product will work properly. to my surprise, minor changes to the BIOS and this product worked great. Amazing performance and storage for a very good price, i bought it when it was on sale for $94. I will wait for the price to come down again and i will buy another for my other computer. highly recommend, especially if you want performance. Thank you Amazon and WD.

This nvme m.2 ssd worked right way on my Asrock A320m hdv rev 4.0 motherboard and was a breeze to get Windows 10 and various Linux distros installed. I also bought this to hold my most-played games that can benefit from the speed. To be honest most of them play good on even a regular sata3 ssd or even just a decent hdd so 2.4GB/s is plenty fast. All the next-gen games that will make use of gen 4 pcie doesnt really concern me, I already have a great library of games. WD is generally a trusted brand and you cant go wrong at this price for what youre getting. If you need faster then thats out there as well, for me its performance fits the bill. It didnt come with the m.2 screw unfortunately. Great job WD!

I bought this drive to replace my existing SSD in my Macbook Pro 2014 but now when I try to upgrade my Mac OSX it says the drive has S.M.A.R.T errors and needs to be replaced. Moreover, after installing the drive my laptop reboots sporadically and shows the ? folder icon. I cant say about other systems, but DO NOT buy this for a Macbook.
