Be aware that if you didn’t use the data stored on the WD ssd for a couple month and the speed will drop to less than 10m/s (much slower than HDD) And what make it worse is WD refuse to admit this as a issue and refuse to do anything! And that’s why it is cheap this Black Friday! Photo attached. It’s not a ssd but a freaking flash drive!

Ive got a Dell precision 3520. The m.2 SATA SSD it came with was dying an unceremonious death. It began showing signs of death outside of the warranty of course. I took an image backup with Clonezilla and prepared for the worst. For cheap OEM garbage, it did the job but I needed something to replace it with. I picked this up because, at the time, it was cheaper than the comparable WD m.2 SATA ssd. It still is but the price gap has narrowed. My laptop can take an NVME drive...so why not? I dont have statistics, but I feel like my battery just doesnt last as long as it used to. To be expected I guess, I just use it around the house so Im never far from a charger. Speed wise? Its fine. Ive had it for a few months and, considering its running in a laptop without much ventilation, its running about where it should be in terms of performance. It doesnt usually get a chance to get very hot. I dont exactly game on this thing. I use it for doing work around the house or when a phone or tablet just wont cut it.

I was not sure if this product will work with an older computer Dell Optiplex 5040 from 2016. I did my research on line with Dell and WD and still i did not have a clear answer if this product will work properly. to my surprise, minor changes to the BIOS and this product worked great. Amazing performance and storage for a very good price, i bought it when it was on sale for $94. I will wait for the price to come down again and i will buy another for my other computer. highly recommend, especially if you want performance. Thank you Amazon and WD.

Installed easily in my Acer Nitro 5 Laptop. Same procedure to install in Predator Laptop as well. Works great.

Works amazing for video editing, gaming, everything. Runs fast and effectively! Downside was it did not come with an m.2 screw, which was only a minor inconvenience, other than that AMAZING product!

Works good so far, This is the second one Ive purchased, Will purchase again if needed
