Low rating on durability. Seems to be a nice unit from the review rating. Maybe I just got one of the bad ones. Worked great for 6 months. Now it has some kind of internal issue with the ports. Plugging in cord the volt light goes out and no charging. Have to wiggle it around and it will come back on. All the wires in back are tight and even tried new cables.

I just installed this to replace what I thought was a fast charger. The last one one I purchased was 2.1amp, but apparently NOT USB3. It was very slow to charge. This charger is installed easily as described and it DOES support fast charging for my S7. The voltmeter could help troubleshoot problems down the road. Happy so far.

This is always a first thing I do to any older vehicle I buy that still has a cigarette lighter. Yank it and slap one of these in there for modernizing a vintage to other vehicle, boat etc... Plus with the Volt meter its a quick easy aid in seeing if you have any battery to other related electrical problems before you even put the key in the ignition. As if you dont see 12.4V average volts, you may be having a power problem. Knowing is less guessing. Put these in a few Ford trucks Excursion and F350.

Installed this one place of an old cigarette lighter that no longer worked. Did not swap out perfectly on my yukon xl, I had to drill out the hole slightly which was a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. Charges my phone really quick!

Ordered this cigarette replacement charger for my 2016 Audi SQ5 due to the fact that it didnt have a single USB charger. The install was a bit involved (no fault of the product) but once it was in, its absolutely amazing! Looks factory. The aluminum body gives it a solid, quality feel. Absolutely recommended to anyone who wants to ditch the cigarette lighter outlet.

Blue light is always on, not an issue. Is well made, solid and sturdy. Easy to install. If you need one this might be right for you. Mine is installed in vehicle with no windshield and is exposed to rain and with the ports protectors so far so good.
