Replaced a cigarette lighter. Spliced in new wires. Dedicated usb ports, better than plug adapter.

Simple and easy to install coming with good wiring and clearly marked posts. I installed this in my boat dashboard replacing an old 12v cigarette type lighter tHat worked slightly. I used a Minn Kota i-Pilot link controller for my trolling motor and I can now charge that and my phone as need right at the console. And, the led voltage indicator is awesome because I now know the voltage of my main battery at all time at a quick view. Very pleased.

As soon as it was hooked to 12v power the LCD flashed rapidly and USB ports didn’t work. Busted right out of the box

So far works great as intended put on my utv wired to ignition so won’t kill battery had to drill out the whole a tiny bit vs stock 12v charger

I replaced my dash cigarette lighter with this on my Volkswagen camper van so I can easily see my voltage on my solar battery bank. A few things to note are that it is not universal and I had to bore out the hole a little with a drill bit to get it into the dash. Also, the fuse (10amp) is not a common fuse and after blowing both fuses that it came with (dont ask) I ended up chopping out the in-line fuse and replacing it with a more standard sized fuse. (still 10 amp but can be found at any auto shop) Another note: The super bright and readable LED amp meter display is great but is always on and that may bother some, especially if it is in the area where you sleep. I taped over it so that when the cover is closed you cannot see any light from the display. Another option is to wire it to a switch that can turn it on and off. I may do this in the future. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do and am satisfied with this purchase.

I now have three of these. I use them in my motor home on the chassis 12 volt, and also the coach 12 volt circuits. I can see the condition of both sets of batteries at a glance in addition to being able to charge my phones and iPads. I love this product.

This is a great Item. Its perfect. Has no on or off button. I used it for my dash cam and ran the wires to my radio power so it turns off and on with the radio. Its very durable and looks great on the dash. I highly recommend it.

For someone who uses usbs for nearly everything this was so handy, and with fast charging. No complaints at all, having this as a replacement is cool plus I can see it very easily in the dark

This product was easy to install in less than 5 minutes. I install this 12/24 volt charger on my 1998 Bass Tracker to keep my eyes on the charge status of my 24volt trolling motor. It also helps keep my phone changed while hours on the lake.
