Greater than one weekWas easy enough to install. I replaced my factory power outlet located in the back of my center console. My only gripe is the outer diameter is quite larger than I expected and I had to trim the factory hole to make it fit.

> 3 dayThis is a must have if you’ve got technology that needs to be charged. Took me about 20 minutes to install on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. You will need to make the opening from the stock cigarette lighter just a tad larger for this to fit in, but it’s easy with a dremel or even a little sandpaper. I used the existing wires from the Jeep, and some Loctite on the backside where you cinch it down with the lock ring. Solid as a rock!

Greater than one weekOnly have had it for about a week now. Still works and charges well. For anybody curious if you’re not hooking it straight up to the battery you can cut the in-line fuse out.

Greater than one weekThe cigarette lighter in my 1968 Buick caught on fire and being as I dont smoke I decided to replace it with a USB port hub. Since were currently living in 2021 and USB in a car is pretty much an essential component to have I wanted to make sure I got the right thing. I ended up choosing this one because it has an aluminum housing and a lot of others that I saw were entirely plastic, and honestly I wasnt interested in anything made completely out of plastic. So I bought this and it took about a day to arrive which was cool. I took out my Dremel and honestly only had to remove a little bit of burnt plastic to get it to fit in the old cigarette lighter hole. I managed to work the locking ring around the back of the port which was honestly a little challenging with the two inch gap I had to move my fingers around in, but Id imagine on any vehicle that isnt old as dirt you could probably remove a panel pretty easy and put this where you wanted it with a decent amount of room to work with. The new charger fits wonderfully and pretty much hides all of the burn damage that was visible on the dash. Currently its wired to only be on when the car is in accessory mode or on completely, and I would recommend others do the same to avoid battery drain. (You can see in the image I attached its displaying no power and has no light on because the vehicle is off). If I have any issues Ill make sure to update the review but currently Im pretty satisfied and now I can run Spotify wherever Im in the car, have my tunes, and also not worry about running out of battery (Ive got an older iPhone 7 and it drains pretty quick unfortunately).

Greater than one weekSimple and easy to install coming with good wiring and clearly marked posts. I installed this in my boat dashboard replacing an old 12v cigarette type lighter tHat worked slightly. I used a Minn Kota i-Pilot link controller for my trolling motor and I can now charge that and my phone as need right at the console. And, the led voltage indicator is awesome because I now know the voltage of my main battery at all time at a quick view. Very pleased.

> 3 dayInstalled over head of bed in RV w/ power switch to conserve battery. Pic shows w/ power on & reading of 13.8 volts on shore power. Second pic taken w/ rocker switch off & 1 of 2 ports in use. Cover slips in place when cords are removed. I’m planning on installing another similar set-up under a weatherproof snap-cover to charge devices when I’m sitting outside. I like this plug & adding a cut-off switch reduces drain on the battery. I have not used it much as yet so cannot report on it’s longevity. The voltmeter reads accurately. So far I would buy it again.

> 3 dayI might’ve confused this with other options, but thought it had an on/off button. Mounted it above the 12V battery disconnect on the dinette seat of our ‘19 Casita SD. Very convenient for charging the phone at night for the person closest to the aisle.
