factory one was rusty and didn’t work so i replaced it and put in a new fuse and works great. very simple install even with very minimal knowledge or experience with electrical. the voltage meter is nice too so i know if the battery is going bad

Perfect replacement for a cigarette lighter

Hooked this right up to the power for constant on metering. Its bigger than your standard outlet on the 2003 first gen Tacoma and had to modify the space to make it fit. Overall, LOVE IT. Update Jan 2022 Still going strong. It doesnt seem to charge as fast as I had hoped but still works whether the truck is on or off.

I installed this into the left interior side wall of the glovebox of my 2009 MB CL600, wired to the passenger-side fuse box as always on. (I didnt want to cut a hole anywhere into the leather dash surface, and theres no easy place on the console for it.) Inside the glovebox seemed a reasonable place, and I can run USB wires out the side of glovebox while still allowing the cover to close. The unit works well, and I like the bonus of the voltage readout (tho of course I have to open the glovebox to see it.) One VERY small complaint/comment (no star deducted) is that I wished that the supplied wires were just a few inches longer. Just ONE inch on the positive wire in my case wouldve avoided having to perform a splice in the wires. No big deal but just a tad frustrating. A little more wire supplied would be only a few pennies for the manufacturer.

As soon as it was hooked to 12v power the LCD flashed rapidly and USB ports didn’t work. Busted right out of the box

Charges great. battery condition is nice but a bit hard to read though the water proof cover. The black plastic cost more the the charger. Bought the plastic sheet at a home store and cut it out with my hole saws. I think it look good. Now to get to work on the back of the council. Sorry wrong console.

Works good for the money

This product was easy to install in less than 5 minutes. I install this 12/24 volt charger on my 1998 Bass Tracker to keep my eyes on the charge status of my 24volt trolling motor. It also helps keep my phone changed while hours on the lake.

Great quality no complaints. I bought two of these about a month ago for my Ford transit van. We were taking a trip to Florida and needed extra charging areas in the back for the kids. They were fairly straightforward to install and have been working great. The only issue I noticed that may be a problem for someone is the voltage displayed between the two was a little different about 4/10 of a volt.
