What I like about this item is that it really does relax the kids. What I dont like (and it could just be my child who has this kind of reaction); This normally helps my 3yo fall asleep in 30-45 minutes, but then shell wake up 3-4 hours into the night sort of panicked and quickly becomes wide awake. So just keep in mind everyone reacts differently to things Rx or homeopathic. Lastly I scored down on value for limited flavor options. There are SO many grape flavored medicines out there!! My 3yo used to love to take this, to a point of keeping the bottle out of sight so she wouldnt try to get some. That lasted for a few weeks maybe a little over a month then she grew tired of the flavor it seems. Can parents please get more bubblegum options???

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has had trouble sleeping since she was 2. We started this a few months ago. I only use occasionally but it works wonders. She goes to sleep within 30 minutes and sleeps comfortably through the night.

I have a 4 year old who has a hard time sleeping. These have made a big difference in our night routine. I also have a hard time sleeping, I take one from time to time, and it really does help me sleep as well. Definitely recommend!!

Work good. Takes about an hour to kick in but my son sleeps soundly and wakes up refreshed so the dose of 1 mg is just right. HIGHLY recommend.

My 6 year old takes them willingly every nigjt. Without them she would be up all night.

My kids are 6 & 8 and they know if they are up too late or overtired, they need a little purple pill. Overall great product and works like a charm.

I was hesitant to start giving my 3-year old melatonin, even though I personally have had some great results with it. However, his nighttime shenanigans were getting out of hand. No matter how tired he was, he fought bed time hard. We have had a solid bedtime routine in place since he was an infant, but once he transitioned from crib to bed, he would keep coming out of his room and cry to come downstairs for a solid hour, with the cries often escalating to full blown screaming. His pediatrician recommended this product in particular, as she uses it successfully with her own kids. Weve been using it for a month now, and he literally asks to go to bed. Even if we skip a night, bedtime is much smoother as its re-set the routine. Bedtime is back to being a happy experience for all involved. Quick disclaimer - this will not help your children stay asleep, this is only meant to help them fall asleep.

Our psychologist recommended melatonin for our three year old...and I choose this brand. Our son is autistic and his entire life hes struggled with sleep. I hate giving him any sort of medication and I only recommend this as a last resort. But when youve been rocking your child to sleep for naps/bedtime and then multiple times in the night for the last three years of your life...Id call that a last resort. So now, three months later, we are still giving these pills to him. Nightly, I crush up one pill and put it in some almond milk before bed. It must taste good because he suddenly loves the almond milk where he didnt before. Im also happy to say I am no longer rocking him and hes sleeping soundly at night. Yay!!! Some nights I give him half a pill and some nights I skip the pill when hes skipped his nap. This has been a life saver for me and my son seems happier in general lately. (Probably because hes sleeping better.) Im not sure how long I will continue to give them to him, but for now its working for us. Oh, and our psychologist told us kids with autism sometimes dont produce enough melatonin naturally so it is common among them. Whether your child is normal or not, Id recommend talking with your doctor before starting something like this. :)
