Zoo Med Floating Turtle Log

This is just perfect for our turtles. They both bask on it, while the shier one likes to hide inside the log. I do have a concern, based on the more negative reviews, that as he grows the hollow will become a problem rather than an attribute, but right now there is no problem. I have to admit that the way it floats to and from around the tank can irritate me, but the turtles really do like it, and it is their tank. Adds a nice rutic, natural element to the tank.

I have an assortment of aquatic turtles and they love the log. I highly recommend it. It does move around in the tank and if you have a musk turtle or turtles that can climb, use caution b/c they may try and escape. I have the largest turtle tank with the cut out on the side and when the log is near the filter, he trys to climb out by way of the filter. Overall, the log is great.

My turtles love this log perfect size for them but anything smaller would be a waste of money so I’d go with this one or anything bigger for a adult turtle

I was actually hoping this was the extra large log size as we are moving our red ear slider to a 40 gal tank but he still likes it. His old log weve had for 6 or 7 years and was beginning to fall apart. This log has a weight in it and floats in the water. He climbs on top to take a break from the water or to bask for hours on end. I tried several other turtle ramps to get him out of the water and he sunk them all. This is the best and cost effective, too.

Bastante grande y mis tortugas están felices. Les cuesta un poco subír pero eso les ayuda a fortalecerse. Con el tiempo se suben con más facilidad

Dimensions are not as described. The actual width is half what it says it is.

This was great for a while. It was floating in my pond and the frogs loved it. Then it sank - mustve gotten waterlogged.

My turtle loves it! I used to have two hatchlings in my tank & they both loved to go in & stick their heads out. I’ve since separated them & kept the shy turtle in & he loves the log. He will eventually not fit inside but he also uses the top to bask.
