> 3 dayI have a 20 something year old red ear slider turtle. She has a 75 gallon tank. I bought this as an experiment as to whether she would use it or not. She loves it. While she spend a lot of time swimming around the tank, she also enjoys climbing up to get dry under the UVB and heat lights. I would buy this again and again if need be.

> 3 dayOur two red eared sliders love it. They hide inside and bask on the top. Well worth the money. Very happy with this product.

17-04-2025This log is nice for baby turtles, or to sit on the bottom of the tank. But as a floating log it flipped our turtle upside down.

> 3 dayGreat product, but kind of large for my 29 gallon tank. Id suggest using it in something larger. It has a very realistic, bark-like texture, which is great, but thats also the reason I didnt give it five stars -- those grooves are a great habitat for algae, and good luck cleaning that off once it starts accumulating. Overall, though, I really like it and would still recommend this item.

Greater than one weekI have two smaller painted turtles who both love to bask upon this log. I have had this log for about three years now, and while it does show some wear (ala color loss due to the lamps) it still works fine. However, if you do have larger turtles it might be best to not buy this product (most pet stores have this in stock, so you can go over there to get an idea to see how big this actually is).

> 3 dayBastante grande y mis tortugas están felices. Les cuesta un poco subír pero eso les ayuda a fortalecerse. Con el tiempo se suben con más facilidad

> 3 dayThe log is very big but it is wonderful, my turtle has house of fun on his log, he loves to go through it and sun bathe on top of it and go through the hole, I have had it for almost 3 months and it is the best thing I got him. It doesnt leave much room for my fish so I had to put them in another tank but it is wonderful for my turtle.

> 3 dayWhen I first saw this in the store, it shocked me at how perfect it looked for my turtle pond. I bought it for far more than i paid for my second one here, but it was still worth it. I saw the turtles spending most of their time hiding in it. I have: Red-Ear Slider - Kespacho Western Painted Map - Atlas Reeves - Christopher Reeves African Side Neck - Sophie the Sophie and Reeves spend most of their time in the logs while Kespacho and Atlas roam around. My biggest concern was that it would not hold a 3-5LB turtle, but I was very wrong I would creep up to the pond and catch them over and over with Multiple turtle on a single log. I have never to date seen them crawl up there, so I am not sure how they do it. The point is they can and do. My only modification I have made to mine was to create an anchor point using a small Anchor stone and some fishing wire which I have now changed to cotton thread. Even though Ill have to change the thread more often the Turtles can see it better so they wont get tangled. The Detail on the outside when new is very good to excellent. It is very durable product wise having had mine in an outdoor pond now for about 4 months. I would state that the paint coloring has dulled a bit but the tint of algae has crept in so it doesnt affect it much. Its weighted perfectly so it floats very well for them to come up to it. If you have a turtle in the mid range which may get stuck in the opening I would recommend removing it till they have put on another 1/2 inch. Overall a 5 star product especially for the price.

> 3 dayIts a perfect resting spot for your turtle of any size and age...I have the small log for my hatchling penelope..She is a red ear slider the size of a 50cent coin and she loves it...its not meant to be a basking platform....its very natural looking and easy to clean. Your pet turtle needs a sturdy basking spot...not a piece of material meant for them to drift on...

> 3 dayMy turtles love this. Wished I had bought this when I first got them. I wished they would make a bigger one for when they outgrow this.
