Very good product and it work perfectly every time I’m using it.

Tapped a 4mm hole into cast iron block very easily clean cut no binding. Dyed a rod and also no binding with very clean threads. nice that the case is marked what diameter and thread pitch. I suggest using a very lite grease on all tap and dyes when storing to protect there markings.

Folks, if you need a Tap & Die set for whatever job, I recommend this set. It has about every size youll need for your shop. Its not like that cheap Harbor Freight use one time, throw away junk. Quality made, priced right. Im sure you will agree.

I have used a few pieces of this kit now, with great results. The handles could be a bit tighter, but that is my only complaint about quality.

I wasnt sure about this set because of.the price. But this set passed my expectations. I had previously purchased a Dewalt set from home depot that cost more and this set performed way better.

Okay, you get what you pay for, and I get that. But seriously, when I opened the box a pile of taps, dies and pieces parts ended up on the floor. So be forewarned: there are no molded tabs to hold anything in place, so all the parts just sit there loose in the box waiting for you to accidentally spill them. I probably spent 45 minutes sorting through things, trying to identify them and putting them back in there assigned spaces. Nor do the taps fit very securely in the tap wrench, but what did I expect? I will say that the set works adequately for occasional use, and it did enable me to accomplish a threading job on my own with resorting to borrowing or asking for help. If thats all you will need it for then it will probably do. Just remember to exercise caution when opening the box and hope that it was packed securely to begin with.
