CHROMEBOOK IS THE WORST THING TO EVER EXIST!! It does NOT function like a true laptop. You canNOT do everything you do on your regular PC. The thing doesnt even support Adobe FlashPlayer!! The only word processing system is Google Docs, and, apparently, it does NOT support the MS Office Suite. I regret the money I wasted on this little piece of garbage instead of buying a REAL PC. Cant wait to get rid of this thing. Acer is fine, but Chromebook in its entirety is not suitable for real life application. Ill be giving this thing to my daughters to use as a toy. Its basically just a phone with a physical keyboard.

Broken when arrived. The screen is cracked. Will be returning this item. Otherwise a beautiful laptop and very lightweight.

Got these donated to my class through donorschoose. My students love the Chromebooks. I only have 2, praying to get some more.

We purchased this Chromebook in January 2018 for my 12 year old to use for homework. When it is working, it is a nice product. The problem is that it stopped turning on and taking a charge twice in less than one year under light use. Each time this happens I have had to pack it up and ship it back to Acer and be without it for several weeks. In addition this time they are requiring that I pay for the shipping. I would not purchase this product again, it is simply unreliable and a hassle to deal with repair.

I just got this computer and so far, I love it. I had the most basic Acer Chromebook, and it was fine for a couple of years, but then it started slowing down some and the fan was running almost constantly, which was very irritating. I cant tell a huge difference in the speed of the Acer R11, it is fast but not lightning quick. Im okay with that, though, and suspect some of that is due to my particular internet service.
