I grew up on Adam wests Batman and still love him best❣️This movie is amazing and cheesier than a bowl of Mac n cheese! I personally love the camp factor of the 60s Batman and feel privileged to have met Adam west at a book signing. If you dont have time for the series, this movie will give you a hefty helping of it.

My kids started watching the old Batman shows on television and really liked them. We decided to watch this movie and they think its great. Adults really see how hokey it is, but it is funny because the writers intend for you to realize it. Batman and Robin make off-handed comments that make fun of themselves and some of the comments are really funny. Children seem to like it for the action. And the best part is that the language is appropriate for them and the storylines and characters are not as dark as the newer movies so they dont get scared. This is a great family movie.....

Today’s movies today’s toys have changed dramatically from when I was a kid . Friends from school nieborhood friends would play with push toys planes that didn’t fly trains that we hand pushed around the track growing up in late 60s with threat of war . We used imagination with toys and played out in our minds the different things happening that day with our toys sometimes crash and burn others saving people . All though I do enjoy modern toys it’s good to remember classics like Batman and robin good against evil . We always knew that good would win evil would always loose . As kids every boy wanted to be Batman robin Superman . My baby brother would put a red blanket and pretend to fly . Now That’s imagination . Sadly it’s lost in kids you show them a toy they ask what does it do . I was able to In still imagination in my two kids to dream anything is possible .

I had the pleasure of watching this movie -- and the accompanying TV series -- in two different, but equally enjoyable, phases: First, as a 4th grader when they were first released in the 60s -- when I took them at face value as super hero adventure stories; and later, as an adult, reveling in the campy humor and the droll, dead-pan delivery of Adam West. This is a very corny movie -- but in a good way! Lots of fun. I especially enjoyed watching it while listening to the commentary by West and Burt Ward. And by the way, though Im not a kid any more, I still want that Batmobile in my garage, and want to take the Bat Boat out for a high-speed run!

Sure, there are ways to get rid of a bomb, but for some reason this one grows on you. If you were a fan of the 60s TV show or want to introduce this version of the caped crusader to a new generation this will be a great launch board. If anything you to an hour and a half of babysitting material that looks better then when it was originally released. KAPOW!

Adam West is the best Batman ever. Sadly, these days the only version of Batman that you see is the dark one, which is inappropriate for young children. Batman has had so many interpretations throughout the years and the 1960s series is a great representation of his cheesy years. This movie captures all of the silliness of the show in one fun narrative that includes 4 major villains. I love dark Batman, especially Michael Keaton, but if your in the mood for a refreshingly lighter take that you can enjoy with your small kids or goof on with your nerdy comic book friends, then Adam West is your Batman.

Just couldnt bring myself to give it a 5 star. Not to give away much, but Bruce Waynes in depth attraction to Miss Kitka made me cringe too much. Couldnt take it much longer. Other than that, great movie! A must see for all Bat-fans. My kid loved it too.

Maybe Ive been spoiled by the outstanding visual quality of the Blu-ray release of the television series, but to my eyes, the DVD version of this movie had better color saturation and the Blu-ray only very, very slightly improves on the overall picture sharpness and quality. Also, while the new bonus features are fun and are a nice addition, I do wonder why the From The Files Of Adam West photo gallery included on the 2001 DVD release was left off of the Blu-ray version. Surely there was enough room on the disc for its inclusion? While this isnt the only Blu-ray release of a movie that has dropped bonus features found on their older DVD versions, when everything else from the DVD has been ported over its a mystery why this one thing wasnt. Its kind of annoying to have to hold on to your old DVD for just one gallery of photos.
