> 3 dayRidiculous? Yes Dumb villains trying to get caught? Yes Too many labels? No A good movie to relax to with the wife and kids? Definitely! Silly and unrealistic, this movie is a good time if you can let go of reality and live in a dream world where good and evil is black and white. Plus, Ceasar Romero (The Joker) didnt even shave his mustache. They just put the white make up over it. From the shark repellent at the beginning to the Dynamic Duo climbing walls with celebrity cameos this movie is F - U - N!

> 3 dayAlmost all the fun of the Batman TV Show without the commercials (sadly, no Batgirl)! Take the entire regular cast of the TV Show, add in the best villains, stir in a romance between Bruce Wayne and Catwoman with a heavy dose of camp and you have Batman: The Movie (1966). ***Spoilers May Occur Below*** When the Joker (Ceasar Romero), Penguin (Burgess Meredith), the Riddler (Frank Gorshin) and Catwoman (Lee Meriwether) join forces to steal a device that will dehydrate anything in order to kidnap the entire United World Central Committee, you know that only Batman and Robin can save the day! Not only do B&R get outwitted a few times, but Bruce Wayne falls for (and almost converts) Catwoman (disguised as Kitka). The regular hi-jinks occurs ending with, you guessed it, Batman and Robin saving the day and the world in the end--even though we do find out that Batman is not perfect in the final return of the Central Committee. Whip out the buttered popcorn, get that giant slurpee, sugar yourself up with a large movie-sized Raisinettes and Milk Duds and lay back in your easy chair to remember what it was like to go to the movies or watch Batman on the daily serialized TV Show. Same Bat Time! Same Bat Channel!

> 3 dayCorny but it is a good manifestation of the 60s ideas of Batman. This is the movie made from the 60sTV show. The classic show has all the earmarks of the time, with the villains played in a very campy and humorous way. The bumbling police chief is as funny as ever. And Alfreds calmness as he maintains the secrecy of the dual identities around poor clueless Aunt Harriet.

> 3 dayReally, Just watch it. You shall not be disappointed in how much you will be disappointed. Like a basic wine ages to become a prime vintage, Batman 1966 is one of a kind. Get it while you can.

Greater than one weekWhile this is pretty much a bare-bones DVD release, for me it is an entertaining guilty pleasure. When this first was released in the theatres in 1966, I was a 5 year old Batman obsessed kid. I remember my wonderful twin great aunts taking me to the movies to see this cheese-fest. While its no technical marvel, it is a very fun addition to the 60s TV show era of the Batman legacy. And for just a few dollars, its well worth re-living the the memories associated with it.

> 3 daySure, there are ways to get rid of a bomb, but for some reason this one grows on you. If you were a fan of the 60s TV show or want to introduce this version of the caped crusader to a new generation this will be a great launch board. If anything you to an hour and a half of babysitting material that looks better then when it was originally released. KAPOW!

> 3 dayI grew up with the comic books and then the series Wowd us as kids. Then Batman The Movie came out and we got to go see him on the big screen. I think this version is more clear and better for viewing than even what I saw in the theater all those years ago. The commentaries and extras are great for DC fans. And getting it for $5.00 as an add on to an order I was placing makes it an even better deal. It you like anything amd everything Batman and DC then this is a must for your collection. You wont regret it :-)
