> 3 dayWhat i liked the most, was that it doesnt take up so much space on the wall outlet. The other similar versions are usually a little bigger and makes the second outlet difficult to use with another 3 prong device. I think the reset button being on the front, is much more handier for reconfiguration and evaluating the state of the device. I do worry with the outlet being on the side of the wall plug is it could put strain on it and weaken the outlet over time. However, with that said the connection felt very secure, so that is just a concern, nothing factual. Configuration, is about as easy as the app variants, you still have to go through a process, but the process is simple and makes sense.. who are you, what you want to call it, and what network you want it on.

> 3 dayIm in awe at how easy this was to set up, given the depressing amount of time Ive spent fussing with WeMo plugs. Exactly as the instructions say: 1) plug in 2) connect to the Broadlink SSID 3) Wait for the system to tell you to sign in to broadlink 4) Input your real SSID & password, also email and name your plug 5) activation email arrived in 30 seconds 5) Open Google Home app, add device, select NoAPP 6) Wait for 7-digit email code and input Thats it. No downloading apps. No passwords. Even the EULA was short enough to read.

Greater than one weekUPDATE: 12/16/22 Ive had 15 of these in use for about 11-15 months now. I stand by all the good things I originally said in my 1st review (below), but I have to deduct 1 star. I bought them because I was sick of adjusting mechanical timers for DST and ever-changing sunset/sunrise times, however, these periodically lose their connection to the router and will not reconnect without a reset and then need to be configured just like new. Worst, they all fail at the same time or in groups of anywhere from 6 to 10. It is a pain figuring out which ones have disconnected then holding the power button down, connecting with my phone, and reassigning the router and password. I suspect this is a Broadlink server issue rather than the individual plugs since Ive never had just 1 fail. So far this has happened about 6 times in the past 12 months - same number of times I would adjust the mechanical timers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The first one I installed took the longest as I had to create a Broadlink account. Once that is done and youve added your Broadlink account to Google Home (my method of use) the others just drop in easily. The only thing to keep in mind is that you must add them to your home and assign each to a room. I named mine for clarity. I havent had any issues since installing the 1st five 2 weeks ago. I installed 3 more today. So nice to not have to reset the timers all over the house every time there is a power glitch or daylight savings switch. I love that I can set them to turn on at the local sunset too.

> 3 daySetup was not as easy as other products, also the scheduling was not 100% intuitive but after that it works and no complaints.

> 3 dayI got this for a timer for a plant light it is a little confusing on the app but once it’s done then it’s perfect. Doesn’t take up too much space on the plug either.

> 3 dayI bought the 5 pack to add some lights to my Google home set up. At first they were working great with my Google home app and voice commands. I would use them in routines and had nothing to complain about. Then a month in they would disconnect from my Google home. They would work with their app just fine but could no longer with voice commands or anything within google until I deleted them and went through the entire set up process again. I know have to do this every 2 weeks with a different plug until I can buy some replacements. Dont waste your time and money like I have.

> 3 dayThe product advertise no app, but it still demands you provide an email to register your device through their website. I was wrong to interpret no app as no third party snooping. It is not the manufacturers fault. I was looking for a wifi device that works without registration or setup without through an external website, but it seems this does not exist. It seems rather invasive to have my thermostat or light switch on the internet connected to data systems I do not control.
