Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 is STM

Excellent Canon refurbished lens that I continually keep on my camera body. Sharp as a tack with a moderate working distance so as not to be intrusive when shooting candid photos of people. Great addition to my bag of equipment. This is a pro-sumer lens, but the glass is excellent for the price point. Some people complain about the plastic mount but I dont find it to be a negative aspect of this product.

Its a kit lens. Decent quality for the beginner or up and coming photographer/videographer. I personally will sell this one and put the money toward a Rokinon prime lens.

I am very happy with the purchase of this camera lens. It gives me the ability to take wildlife photos without getting too close and disturb the wildlife subject.

Writing this for my wife who takes the pictures in the house. She loves it, Well worth it at the price we got it for. Was going to go with the 75-300mm but opted for this one instead. We wanted this for sports pictures and it takes very good pictures. Very clear.

Works great and gives very impressive results. Nice and light, well made.

You get what you pay for. This lens is ok. but next time I will purchase a more expensive lense.

I believe there are 3 versions of this lens. Make sure you are getting the right one. Someone tried scamming me on Ebay and sent me an old model. Hahahah. This is primarily a lens that would be used by new photographers or enthusiasts right up there with the 50 1.8 STM. This one optically blows away the previous models. Even if I found an old one for under 50 I still wouldnt get it. In fact you can find a good used copy of this one for right around 100. Im waiting for a trip to the zoo to upload some images.
