Exactly what was needed

Its not what I expected - its a zoom and somewhere in the description or maybe it was a customer review it said it was the new replacement for the Canon 18 -135 which is quite different. I have tried it and I dont think its ever going to work for me - I really want another 18-135 - it was perfect for me and mine seems to be broken. Ill try this again a few times - it has gotten great reviews and maybe I just need to give it some time to get used to it.

I bought this lens for $199cad, it was too good to let it pass. It is a great upgrade to anyone who, like me, has a 18-55 ef-s with IS II kit lens. Its not only a range upgrade: color, sharpness and stabilization are way better with this lens. The focus is completely silent, faster and more precise than the 18-55 ef-s that came with my camera. Of course there are better lenses out there but not for this price. It is shipped with the lens cap but no pouch or hood but anyone on a budget would prefer this than paying 50$ more. It is the right choice by Canon. You can buy the pouch and hood one month later or whenever you have the money.

pretty good, cheaper than bestbuy, hold the breath when open the shipping package... thank God it came as a original package. why I was so nervous is because we just bought a air fry cook ware prior. it came with greasy dirt and marks.

LIttle disappointed in the end zoom result, but no fault of the lens...I should have paid for and ordered a longer lens....it works fine and its a good investment
