> 24 hourGrant it, I only use my Canon iP2600 for occasional small print jobs, but once I got used to the top paper loading and the noisy and slightly slower operation, I adjusted to it fine from my HP Deskjet. It gets the job done and the modest price makes up for little quirks. If I printed more often, I might check ink refill prices of other printers because Canon cartridges are certainly no bargain. Ive only had it for a few weeks, but so far, so good.

> 24 hourThe start up process is a little bit slow from the start but print quality; I cant complain on that. The sounds coming from the printer sounds unsettling at first but soon quiet down once the machine ready for business. Overall this particular printer performs with the best of those more pricey models that print quality comes up far short in comparison.

> 24 hourI bought this about 18 months ago and it still works fine. My reason for purchasing was wanting to have both my printers use the same ink cartridges and my research showed this model did. Amazing how ink cartridges are not standardized, even within a manufacturers models. This model was out of production, but found it on Amazon! Buying bulk cartridges makes more sense this way. Wouldnt it be a great selling point if one of the printer companys offered a standardized cartridge for all its printers? If not all, then at least a long running set of models. Good little printer for the price.

> 24 hourI was needed a printer for quick jobs at home and purchased this machine because it seemed stylish. It has been a wonderful saver given space issues in my home. When the top and tray fold up (which is very quick to do, this sits like a nice black box on top of my desk. It is unobtrusive. I can easily stack stuff on top of it if I need the space. The printing is quite nice, though the ink is expensive. I would definitely not suggest getting the ink from anywhere other than an authorized dealer. I have tried to get the ink on-line a few times, but have ended up with cartridges that have so little ink that it is not worth the money. I have since decided to only get ink from Staples, where I can be sure that they are not putting some fractional amount in and sending it to me. I use to have an HP and would have no problem finding ink on-line, so this is a bit unique to the cannon 40/41 vendors. Print quality is what you would expect at $50. It does the job for office work, but obviously if you are a photographer and need the highest in quality pictures, than you should probably pay up for some of the fancier printers. However, if you just need an occasional print job that can be a reasonably grainy, this will do the trick (I sometimes print CD covers with it. Its fine).

> 24 hourIve had this for a bit over four months ands use it infrequently. I had expected it to dry up between uses - it doesnt. It prints every time and prints well. If it were lost, Id buy another. Less than five stars because it is slow.

> 24 hourIve had a HP printer for years. Id replace the ink about once a year, thats with printing a ton of pictures. I went to buy ink for my Canon and commented to the salesman about how quickly the printer ran out of ink. He told me that they are shipped with a partial ink cartridge and a full one would last forever. Well that was Monday, this is Friday and Im out of ink! I printed up around thirty fliers. Thats it. I think Ill go back to HP!

> 24 hourThe Canon Pixma IP2600 / 2600 is a P.O.S. It prints super light, as if the color in was watered down. You get what you pay for. Pay $25 more and get the 4600 and youll be satisfied, but research the ink costs in advance. Also look at generic ink distributors.

> 24 hourSo me and the wife are in the Walmart and come across this printer for 30 bucks.......and Im thinking....whats the catch. So we pull out the Treo and consumer search it and its reviews are pretty good. Now understand if you put in low quality picture at this resolution it will look like its supposed too......LOW QUALITY. But the higher resolution pictures look unbelievable. They do not include the USB to Firewire cable and you only find out when you get home. It doesnt even tell you on the box that you need the firewire. Luckily I had one. The pictures look amazing on the Glossy II paper and since I work at a print shop with Half Million Dollar machines.....I can say this printer is Explosively Bang for your Buck. It comes with 4x6 photo paper and I will be cutting the 8.5x11 down to save some money. GREAT PRINTER

> 24 hourPrint quality is decent, but relatively slow and loud. My complaint is the feed mechanism. It sucks. It started by giving errors for no paper with a full paper tray, then started feeding paper crooked. If I want to print a page, itll take 10-12 tries to eventually get it right. Just terrible. Buy something else. Wish I had.
