> 3 dayMy old Lexmark inkjet finally wore out, so I did some research to find a highly rated, low cost replacement. The Canon Pixma iP2600 is easy to set-up and printed documents are excellent quality. As someone else mentioned, ignore the rater who complained about printed pages falling to the ground; they obviously failed to extend the support arm. Only complaint is that the USB cord isnt included (used the one included with my Canon scanner). Otherwise, Im very pleased with the purchase.

> 3 dayVery happy with the Canon Pixma line of printers. Have used many brands over the years and this is a strong choice. Installation is easy and it prints beautifully. Mostly documents but the occasional graphic looks great.

> 3 dayThe start up process is a little bit slow from the start but print quality; I cant complain on that. The sounds coming from the printer sounds unsettling at first but soon quiet down once the machine ready for business. Overall this particular printer performs with the best of those more pricey models that print quality comes up far short in comparison.

08-04-2025I have a B&W workhorse laser (HP) and didnt use this printer much except for a few color prints once in awhile. If I had, I probably would have run into the feeder issue a lot sooner like many people out there. However, under such little use, it took 11 months for the Feeder Failure to appear. The feeder starts grabbing just the right side only and jams the paper. You can try cleaning it, but it doesnt work. You can Google it and gauge about what stage the printer begins to do this for people--but my guess is about 100 -200 feeds. I got this printer free, but Im still a little disappointed Canon put out a defective printer. The features werent great, it was a middle of the road printer, a bit slow, cheap plastic, expensive ink, etc, but as far as I can tell a very inexpensive purchase price for what you get, which probably explains why they only offered a 90 day warranty: it was made to get past the 90 day mark only.

> 3 dayThis printer was bought due to the low price and I hoped for the best possible. Well, I am fully happy with what I got for the money without a doubt

> 3 dayI ordered this printer for my son in college. I had it shipped directly to the college and there were no problems w/ shipping at all. The printer is exactly what he was looking for. Easy set up; great print quality. Hes very happy with it. I actually bought a Canon multi-function after I saw the quality of the print on his printer!

10-04-2025Bought the printer at walmart, am on my second black cartridge. Turned the printer on to do some printing and got seven flashes on the amber light. Looked in the manual and read that the cartridge was not properly installed. So far, I reinstalled it about fifty times, to no avail. I still get the same message, can anybody offer any help ?

> 3 dayMine worked for a while . . . but now the photo stock wont feed at all, and the only message I get is Paper out! Load paper and press resume button. Even though there are 20 sheets of photo stock in the hopper. Update: I adjusted the number of sheets in the hopper and got it to work. Not sure what the optimum number of sheets is - perhaps close to full (1/2 inch space)?

> 3 dayFor the price, its worth it. Pros: - Decent quality. - Price: I bought mine from Wal-mart for $29.95. Cons: - NO paper tray. Which means that once it is done printing each page, that page will fall to the floor. - Ink. I spend $35 per set (1 color, 1 black cartridge). They dont last long. I had a 250 page report to print out (no color, all black and white text) I put in brand new cartridges before and did not get through the entire thing. So it took me 2 of each to do 250 pages. I know other brands like HP you can get more out of for less money. Do the research before you buy. Look at the cost of the printer AND the cost of the ink. If the manufacturer does not tell you how many pages each cartridge will print; keep looking.

> 3 dayI picked one of these up at Walmart years ago and have been happy with the quality of the prints, (though as others have stated, it does drink a lot of ink!). The main problem I have had started about a year after I got it. I dont use it very often, either. The front door ALWAYS triggers an error message that the door is not open and stops printing. This happens EVERY TIME, and the DOOR IS MOST DEFINITELY OPEN. I eventually have to actually sit next to the printer and hold the door down with force, in order to get the printing done. I have searched and havent found many other cases of this happening, so I have no idea what the issue is. I was always going to try to trick the sensor, but never got around to it. The quality is good, but I will probably go with an Epson next time around. I had Epsons first model color ink jet printer and it was a beast! Huge, heavy, and very expensive. But you know what? Even when I finally put it out to pasture when it was 12 years old, it still worked! It was a real workhorse. No more Canon printers for me.
