> 3 dayIve had this for a bit over four months ands use it infrequently. I had expected it to dry up between uses - it doesnt. It prints every time and prints well. If it were lost, Id buy another. Less than five stars because it is slow.

> 3 dayThe first one I received didnt work right out of the box. A new one was sent which is fine. It is an attractive unit, however, in order to keep a supply of paper in it, you must open the top and front for operation which spoils the looks. I dont use it too much, so I just keep paper elsewhere and keep the unit closed.

> 3 dayI like the printer so far - havent done much with it except print text, so I dont know how it does with pictures. Ive had it for about a month and the black ink jet ran out, but I have printed quite a bit with it so far.

> 3 dayI purchased this printer and it stopped working after three months. Great timing since my warranty expired after a month or so. I took it to a repair shop and found it could not even be fixed because the AC adapter unit inside was faulty. I ended up throwing away a $50 printer, time, and money. Amazon was no help due to the warranty expiration. Research more carefully and youll be happier.

> 3 dayThe Canon PIXMA printer I received from this seller is an amazing printer/photo printer that does a magnificent job. The quality if the print, the speed of the printing and the photo quality is top notch. I will never send away or bring my memory card to a store for copies again. I now print my own photos and they are sparkling reproductions that are good at even a large size and look wonderful in a photo album or a frame. As far as the printing quality. It is terrific. I keep a very organized recipe notebook where I have punch-holed all of these recipes that I print, sort them in categories (i.e. Poultry, Seafood, Soups, Desserts) and then sub-categories (i.e. by country, white stock soups, beef stock soups) and can easily refer to them when I cook. The seller was generous in that they sent a USB cord with the printer that did not originally come with the product. Plus, it arrived at my home way before the ETA delivery date. This is a trust-worthy seller who cares about the product and customer service guaranteed.

> 3 dayJust a wonderful quality item for what it is made to do. Its simple to install; its quiet; its quick; ink cartridges seem to be lasting a reasonable length of time....I just have to say A++++++ and way to go Canon once again.

> 3 dayWhile went to buy the Ink for my HP Photosmart printer, I noticed this printer from Canon for just $30 and bought this one without any second thought ($30 is way cheaper than the HP inks). Installation went without an issue on my Vista PC, and I am not finding printing speed an issue. So far so good. I prefer to stay with Canon than HP for following reasons. 1) HP uses color ink even when choosing black printing. Though I print black and white prints, but HP makes me to buy color inks more often than b&w 2) HP expires the ink after some period. HP wants to generate constant money flow, but IMO this is not a way to do. Thanks Suriya.

> 3 dayI picked one of these up at Walmart years ago and have been happy with the quality of the prints, (though as others have stated, it does drink a lot of ink!). The main problem I have had started about a year after I got it. I dont use it very often, either. The front door ALWAYS triggers an error message that the door is not open and stops printing. This happens EVERY TIME, and the DOOR IS MOST DEFINITELY OPEN. I eventually have to actually sit next to the printer and hold the door down with force, in order to get the printing done. I have searched and havent found many other cases of this happening, so I have no idea what the issue is. I was always going to try to trick the sensor, but never got around to it. The quality is good, but I will probably go with an Epson next time around. I had Epsons first model color ink jet printer and it was a beast! Huge, heavy, and very expensive. But you know what? Even when I finally put it out to pasture when it was 12 years old, it still worked! It was a real workhorse. No more Canon printers for me.

Greater than one weekThe Canon Pixma IP2600 / 2600 is a P.O.S. It prints super light, as if the color in was watered down. You get what you pay for. Pay $25 more and get the 4600 and youll be satisfied, but research the ink costs in advance. Also look at generic ink distributors.
