> 24 hourThe start up process is a little bit slow from the start but print quality; I cant complain on that. The sounds coming from the printer sounds unsettling at first but soon quiet down once the machine ready for business. Overall this particular printer performs with the best of those more pricey models that print quality comes up far short in comparison.

> 24 hourIm disappointed! After reading many reviews and all the technical specifications, I did not foresee this difficulty. Today I purchased this machine to install on my Macintosh, operating system OS X.4, which all the specs say is compatible, but the installation CD states that it will work only with operating system OS X.5. So now what? Back to the store I go, I guess. False advertising Id call it.

> 24 hourNeeded a decent printer after TWO Lexmark Wally World cheapies refused to work after a while. I just wanted to print out my tax returns and stuff. The Canon was easy to use and setup. Just hope the ink cartridges dont dry up. I keep them in a glassine (dope) sealed bag, with a wet piece of paper. Hope this works. OK printer so far....

> 24 hourLIKED THE PRINTER at first, BUT HORRIBLE DEAL. . . The Printer controls your ink use through MICRO CHIPS! For example, it tells you when you need ink, so you are a slave to it. I only print BLACK & WHITE, but the color gets used up! How is this possible?? AND WORST OF ALL, you must replace this (UNUSED) Color Cartridge BEFORE you can print again!! UGH. I hate this so much. Everything was going so well. . . DO NOT BUY unless you are made of money and enjoy going to STAPLES all the time for refills!!!

> 24 hourI bought this used for a reasonable price. When it first arrived I kept getting an error when trying to install the ink cartridges. Turns out the printer had sat for a few months. I cleaned the heads and the cartridge, and all is well. I wanted a printer that you can purchase re manufactured ink for. I didnt want to spend a lot on ink. Secondarily, I wanted a printer that printed a decent amount of b/w per min. Lastly, I wanted it to be portable. I am 100% satisfied with this printer. I do not have experience with the photo printing, only black and white.

> 24 hourSo me and the wife are in the Walmart and come across this printer for 30 bucks.......and Im thinking....whats the catch. So we pull out the Treo and consumer search it and its reviews are pretty good. Now understand if you put in low quality picture at this resolution it will look like its supposed too......LOW QUALITY. But the higher resolution pictures look unbelievable. They do not include the USB to Firewire cable and you only find out when you get home. It doesnt even tell you on the box that you need the firewire. Luckily I had one. The pictures look amazing on the Glossy II paper and since I work at a print shop with Half Million Dollar machines.....I can say this printer is Explosively Bang for your Buck. It comes with 4x6 photo paper and I will be cutting the 8.5x11 down to save some money. GREAT PRINTER

> 24 hourThis printer constantly feeds more than one page through at a time. This means that I have to reset it every one or two pages. I have yet to have it print more than 2 pages without jamming. It also uses up ink quickly and ink isnt cheap. I takes a long time to print. It defaults to printing 2 pages on a sheet. I would never buy this printer again, and probably wont buy a canon again because of the level of frustration I have with this printer.
