Clover 9506 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge with Nancy Zieman

I am hoping to use this on my next quilting project to make sure that my binding is turned over on the quilt evenly for final sewing!

there are warnings that it might break if I do such and such with it. In a sewing room its going to see some action, I cannot be careful with it for fear of breakage. The plastic is flimsy, and is even worse because it, as most sewing gauges are, is split down the middle. It is rather pricey given the durability. It will be good for making circles as it has a hole in the one end for a pin and different markings along the edge for various sized circles, but I dont do that often. For now Ill stick with my metal gauge. (this is NOT a kitchen item, really should be in crafts or hobbies)

Saw this on a YouTube video with Nancy Zieman. I have the original metal type but thought this looked interesting. While I cant figure out all the uses, the main use as a gauge works Terrifically! I wish it were metal but it is so helpful. I am able to mark things out much more accurately when sewing which saves time and frustration! Ive even ordered several other of Nancys items because this one worked so well. Oh, I am a sewing grandma who always looks for new things to sew and ways to make my sewing faster and more fun!

Finally a sliding gauge that doesnt get bent after a couple of uses. Lovely, sturdy and excellent quality.

Love this little gadget, its so handy and much nicer than my old metal one. Features that I love: Easy to mark buttonholes and buttons placement Easy to measure since it locks in place Really neat compass feature for drawing circles Its a T gauge, a hem gauge, a compass, buttonhole spacer, and a seam allowance gauge. I Would definitely recommend this!

Nancy Clover Thank you! This is the best sliding gauge I have ever used. I like the way it locks into each measurement so my measurement will not slide as I move along my fabric.

Very versatile tool that I plan to use to draw lines for consistent calligraphy spacing, and as a measuring and tracing ruler for papercrafting. The sliding measure glides smoothly and will allow for quick and easy measurement markings. I can also see possibilities for marking bookbinding holes spaced at certain distances.

Love my sliding gauge from Nancy. So sorry that she is no longer with us, but her product is so much better than others on the market.

I was hoping that this gauge was self explanitory. It works, for sure, but I will have to keep the card that it is attached to in order to utilize all of this gadgets capabilities.
