Greater than one weekThis is my second one. The first one I used my rotary cutter with--dont do that! I cut part of the flat part off so hence, the second one. It is very handy and locks into place so it doesnt move unless you want it to.

> 3 daySaw this on a YouTube video with Nancy Zieman. I have the original metal type but thought this looked interesting. While I cant figure out all the uses, the main use as a gauge works Terrifically! I wish it were metal but it is so helpful. I am able to mark things out much more accurately when sewing which saves time and frustration! Ive even ordered several other of Nancys items because this one worked so well. Oh, I am a sewing grandma who always looks for new things to sew and ways to make my sewing faster and more fun!

> 3 dayI have had a metal gauge for years and its still my favorite. I do like this gauge but its not so good for measuring one eighth or one quarter inch. The things I like best about it are the broad section at the end and it makes drawing accurate circles easy. However its only plastic and I think it is a bit overpriced.

> 3 dayI LOVE this tool! I have been making shades which required a lot of seams and hems to be very accurately measured. I love that this gauge locks into place so there is no drifting as you use it multiple times. I have not yet tried the circular drawing capability, but I did check it out just a bit. The spot where you hold it steady is designed such that, even though you are holding it down firmly, the radial parts still moves quite freely, so it should work well. It is just a little more flexible than I thought it would be but so far that has not proven to be an issue at all.

> 3 dayThis tool certainly does the job its advertised to do. Ive never used a tool like this before, and I just find the gauge a little hard to read. I have to keep checking it against a ruler to remind myself where on the device youre supposed to measure from. I like that the pieces of the sliding gauge dont move around, but I find it a bit difficult to release the mechanism to set it to the distance I want. The button is just hard to push. But, still, it has a job to do and it does it adequately.

Greater than one weekVERY useful sewing table tool. I have had the standard metal sliding sewing gauge for decades and this one is a great improvement. Glad I purchased it.

> 3 dayA little confusing at first simply because it is so different from the old style. Getting to love this gauge!
