> 3 dayThis is a pretty cool sewing gadget with a lot of different functions. My only complaint is that it is also VERY flimsy. Most sewing gauges are made of metal, but this one is made of pretty thin plastic, and I doubt that it will last very long. Ultimately, I would probably trade the extra features for something that can stand up to more wear and tear.

Greater than one weekOne of the handiest sewing gadgets there is. I give one to every grandkid with an interest in sewing.

20-04-2025I was looking for a sewing gauge that would not bend easily, like so many of the metal ones do these days. After much hemming (no pun intended) and hawing, I chose this one based on some advice from a sewing group. I truly think this is a bit over-priced (and I was lucky enough to get it for $8 not the current price). I do not quilt so I think some of the features are a bit unnecessary, FOR ME personally. I DO like that it clicks into place but on the other hand, I feel like it might snap some times when I do that. This is what I wanted: A gauge that would not bend & a gauge that had a slide that would stay in place during a task. Does this do that? ... yes. Am I happy about that? ... yes. Do I think I had to pay a lot of money for that? ... yes. BUT ... is there another product that does that? ... No. (Not that I could find). I think what it comes down to is: when you get tired of buying metal gauges that bend and dont stay in place then you may decide to buy this. Dont get me wrong, it does A LOT, but if you dont use all those features (like me) its a waste ... I hope this was helpful ... Would I buy this again if/when it breaks ... I dont think so.

> 3 dayWhen I ordered this gauge I wasnt sure I would like it. It was so different than the one Id used for years. Now, I dont think Id go back to my older styled one. I prefer the ease and versatility of this sliding gauge.

> 3 dayNancy Zieman is a 21st century sewing genius! This little gadget is light years beyond the old fashioned Dritz measuring gauge because you can click the slider to lock the measurement into place. I use my 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge all the time, especially on tailoring projects. Its so easy to use and so handy.
