14-04-2025I LOVE this tool! I have been making shades which required a lot of seams and hems to be very accurately measured. I love that this gauge locks into place so there is no drifting as you use it multiple times. I have not yet tried the circular drawing capability, but I did check it out just a bit. The spot where you hold it steady is designed such that, even though you are holding it down firmly, the radial parts still moves quite freely, so it should work well. It is just a little more flexible than I thought it would be but so far that has not proven to be an issue at all.

> 3 dayOne of the handiest sewing gadgets there is. I give one to every grandkid with an interest in sewing.

> 3 dayWhen I place the guide at 2 I expected it to measure 2 inches from the end to the guide, but it doesnt. Another reviewer wrote she wished this came with directions. Now I know what she means. This particular ruler even though an older Nancy Z. version was made in China. Usually we can count on Clover to be high quality made in Japan, so that was another disappointment. I returned it and was given a refund.

> 3 dayVERY useful sewing table tool. I have had the standard metal sliding sewing gauge for decades and this one is a great improvement. Glad I purchased it.

Greater than one weekI make clothes for my grandson who has Dwarfism. That requires a lot of modifying patterns and this tool is very helpful to measure accurately.

> 3 dayI had to buy three of these I love them that much! This is the very best seam gauge Ive ever used. The center is 1/8, one half is 1/4, and the whole bar is 5/8. It makes it so easy and painless to mark seams and do quick measuring. The hem guide locks in so you are consistently measuring as you mark. This has become my favorite sewing notion in my craft room!
