Its very rare these days you come by a product that arrives at your doorstep as advertised. I constantly find retailers pushing their darndest for sales while the quality of their product decreases. This product not only exceeded my expectation, but I was personally greeted by the owners making sure all was up to my expectation. Not like all other retailers where an automated email is sent by the owner as a standard to showcase their sincere customer support. I was so impressed by this product, with only the slightest touch of residue which you dont even feel on your hands moments later, made my project organizing audio cables, turn into a hunt through my house searching for anything that needed tape! I have to laugh at myself when I say that, but my digression was completely subconscious as my mind new I was holding something of prime importance and ushered me to go and make use of it. So I did which I never do, much lol right now, and took the time to email their tha you email back. Not only did I receive a timely response from one of the owners, but they gave me a solid discount on my next purchase. Never have I been overly satisfied with a product and then Rewarded. My only regret is that I dont need tape on a day to day basis and that this company is not a household name. This is a family who clearly takes pride in what they do and at the same time understands the importance of looking out for their customers. Two traits which are basically extinct in this country. If you are contemplating an alternative, hopefully this review makes your decision a no brainier. Their product cant be beaten, and if it can be matched, their customer service catapults them over the edge by a landslide. This is the type of old school work ethic that will keep this country honest and prosperous. Excellent gaffer tape. Just like the black tape gafferpower offers but in a woodland camo.

I used this graffen tape to make a custom insert for my copy of the board game Wingspan using cardboard. I saw it recommended online and decided to try it out. I never used graffen tape, but I liked that it was easy to use and mold. It was stickier than I was expecting, but it comes off nicely off from the table and the non-adhesive side of the graffen tape, allowing me to reposition pieces. It did NOT come off nicely off the cardboard itself and a few times I ripped off layers of the cardboard. If the adhesives side meets another adhesive side...all is lost. I also used it for covering a cut on the card table I use and it is satisfying to know there isnt going to be gunk left over from the duct tape. I liked the way it felt and it worked well for my purposes. I did consider the Amazon brand but chose this one instead and Im satisfied with the results.

Real Gaffer tape. Rips as it should. Sticks as it should. Removes cleanly as it should. Been in the Broadcast industry for 45 years, and this is a true professional level product.

I think this is best for inside use and not for outdoor with cold and wet. I used it to tape up some extension cords to the house for Christmas lights. Color matched our brick well, but most of it failed on the first cold rain. I used other Gaffers tape last year that held up through more sever weather. To its claim, it left no residue when it fell off, or with the few pieces left on that I had to pull off when I took lights down. 3 of 5 stars since I might have been expecting too much from a no residue tape.

Ill be the first to admit it. I just didnt get it at first. I didnt get this whole infatuation with gaffer tape. What the heck is gaffer tape anyway? Dont compare gaffer tape to duct tape like I did to a gaffer tape believer or youll spend the next 30 minutes of your life listening to how gaffer tape is used to secure all kinds of stuff to all sorts of other kinds of stuff. Dont be surprised if the person telling you this also tries to sneak in that Swiss doctors believe gaffer tape can cure cancer. Oh, and apparently its hand woven by monks that live in an isolated monastery somewhere. At the prodding of my gaffer-tape-friend, I purchased a role. I used it. Sure, it seems like good tape. But I still didnt get the hype. Then, a few days ago I re-watched the movie Snatch--you know, the one where Brad Pitt plays a bare-knuckled boxer-periwinkle-blue-caravan-salesman--and a light bulb went on in my head. I totally get gaffer tape now.....but its named the wrong thing. Gaffer tape should be called Gypsy tape! The whole point of this tape is to hold things in place for just a little while, and then be removed with no trace--just like a band of roving gypsies. Anyway, I try to use my gypsy tape as often as I can. If I find myself reaching for a roll of duct tape, I stop and ask myself if gypsy tape would be better. Im trying real hard to be a convert....Im just not there yet. Maybe its because I didnt go to film school or play the guitar. ####UPDATE 11/17/2016#### So I finally had a need to use gypsy tape where duct tape was not the best choice. I lost (well, maybe my kids lost it) the battery cover for my TV remote and I was going crazy having the batteries fall out all the time. I had used a piece of duct tape (at least it was black tape so it sort of blended with the color of the remote) but it left gooey stickiness behind. After cleaning it up, I applied some Gaffer tape and its been great! No messy, sticky residue left behind.

Ive tried kinisio tape, Ive tried boob tape, Ive tried all manner of breast lift adhesion backless garbage & none of it works half as well as plain old gaffer tape. The trick is to wash the area youd like to tape, dry thoroughly, then immediately apply. Oils & powders just ruin the adhesion. Now fair warning: Under no circumstances should you EVER simply pull this tape off of you unless youre down to have red marks & blown capillaries. Ive found a quick steam does the trick, but the shower works just as well, anything thatll make you sweat &/or melt the adhesive. Immediately apply a soothing balm after use to help with any raw skin; I do NOT recommend this for daily wear at all, I once did it twice in a row, got impatient the second time & definitely ruptured a few capillaries- not cute. Be sure to look up safe binding practices beforehand, very dangerous to tape in a way that cuts circulation.

Hard to know what kind of gaff you’ll get off Amazon but this is good stuff.

This is the first roll of gaffer tape Ive ever purchased so I cant make comparisons to any other brands, but I can say that I dont imagine another brand could be better. I needed this tape to do a couple last-minute gigs running sound for a band who were bringing their own PA to venues that didnt have their own. With a combination of the bands and my own equipment we ran 4 drum mics, 3 vocal mics, bass and guitar amp mics, and a keyboard direct out along with 3 wedge monitors and 2 mains speakers, and used the gaffer tape to keep things relatively clean and held in place so no one tripped over anything on the dinky stages. The tape did its job superbly, nothing got shifted around during the shows, and we were able to keep the cables out of the bands way. Even though the tape held very securely to the wood and linoleum surfaces the cables were run across it lifted off easily, and most importantly left no gunk on my mic cables or on the floor, and even on a wooden end table in a little alcove by the stage where I had set up my mix position. Also during setup it was very easy to tear off the pieces I needed and never once had to use a blade. This is high quality gaffer tape that I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone.
