> 3 dayI cannot believe how wonderful this tape is. I taped up a sign on an outside brick wall. It has been rained on so many times and also has been frozen and its still holding strong! Ive used it on 2 metal cabinet doors that refuse to stay closed. The tape holds, pulls up easily to open the cabinets and sticks right back when I close them. They must have been opened 100 times and the tape is still working as if it were the first time. I have used it to tape up boxes, then realized that I left something out of the cardboard box. The tape pulled up easily with only about a 1 inch by 1/4 inch piece of paper pulling up from the box. The tape then resealed the box perfectly. When I went to put the box back in storage, it slipped in my hands and I was holding it upside down with the tape on the bottom. It was about 50 lbs and I thought sure that the tape would fail and everything would spill. It did not. The tape held fast. It has worked great around my windows to help keep out the cold. You know how sometimes you get tape crooked and when you pull it up to straighten it, the tape twists and sticks to itself? This has not happened at all with the GafferPower Gaffer tape. I also had a plastic bag in the freezer that tore. I used the Gaffer tape. About a month later, I removed it from the freezer and pulled it off of the plastic bag without a problem. I stuck it on the side of the fridge until I could throw it away. I forgot about it and 3 days later I noticed it on the fridge. I assumed it would fall right off having been in the freezer for a month. It did not. It was stuck well to the fridge and there was no residue left on my fridge when I removed it!!!!! How I wish I had known about this tape sooner. The clear package tape and the Duct tape are going in the back of the drawer only to be used in emergencies. Cant wait to try some of the other colors! It also does NOT hurt that this is made in the U.S.A. and is affordable!!!! I wish Amazon would sell more made in the USA products.

> 3 dayA great roll of gaff tape. Very useful for as many applications as duct tape.

> 3 dayThis was my first time using gaffers tape, so I can’t compare this tape to any other brands. I was looking for a solution to a wire going across a walkway in my living room. I didn’t want the vacuum to get caught on it, and I wanted it to blend into the floor better than black or grey cable covers. This tan gaffers tape was the best option that I could think of. It keeps the wire in place and from being a trip hazard (for people, dogs, and the vacuum). It doesn’t collect dirt or dog hair, though I’m sure eventually it will get dirty enough that I need to put a fresh piece of tape down. Thankfully I have a whole roll that I can use in the future. I think it’ll last a long time, so this purchase was a good value for my purposes.

> 3 dayI used this to facilitate rigging connection protection on the spreaders of my sailboat mast. I have not attempted to remove it yet so I cannot attest to removal, but it seems to adhere to clean aluminum just fine. I will update when I have more information. It shipped rapidly, the tape is of high quality, and it does what it is supposed to in context with the use I had for it, that of ensuring that the rigging wires of my sailboat stay put in the ends of the mast spreaders. I used boots to hold the wires, and this tape keeps those boots closed. I have seen masts where people used the tape alone to hold the wires, but I have not attempted that because I did not like the appearance of such efforts. To each his own I guess. This tape will likely enable that operation in as functional a way as using the boots first and just taping the boots in place..

> 3 dayThis is great gaffers tape. First of all it comes off the roll fairly easily. You know, some of these gaffer rolls you are constantly fighting with and killing your fingertips trying to get the tape unrolled. Not so with this tape. It rolls out easily, tears easily and sticks well without leaving any residue. There isnt much more one could ask for with gaffers tape, is there? Beyond the tape itself, is the company. This tape is sold by webgage and fulfilled by amazon. When this roll of tape arrive I assumed there was some sort of mistake.... it looked used, dirty, with a torn core. I contacted the company immediately and they were profusely apologetic... they sent out another roll right away. It seems amazon had just pulled from the wrong pile. Mistakes happen so I am not concerned about that. Instead I was completely impressed by the swiftness of Webgages response. Within a couple of days I had not only a fresh roll of white tape (also fulfilled by amazon, but correctly this time) but also a fresh roll of the black gaffers tape for free. This company is a class act... they stand behind their product and want to make very sure their customer is satisfied. No, I dont work for the or have any affiliation with them. I had never heard of them or their gaffers tape prior to this purchase. I will, however, be sticking with them for my future gaffer needs. BOTTOM LINE: Excellent gaffers tape at a good price from a company that stands behind their product.

> 3 dayIm a guitarist doing live shows. It tears off easily, tears off clean, removes easily, and removes absolutely clean. When the price went up, I tried the Amzn Basics brand. Bad move. If you want gaffers tape that does what it is supposed to do with no aggravation, just get the Real USA brand. There is literally a difference.

> 3 dayIt came undone when, a little rain got it. Only the first 6, other tapes usually adhere to the other tape, or top of the same tape, it came apart, and the stick was gone, I wouldnt recommend it for outside. Its bright and strong Note: I use it as paint, for my dart board outside. I like it, but its still the duct tape, only, because of the sticking issue.

> 3 dayI think this is best for inside use and not for outdoor with cold and wet. I used it to tape up some extension cords to the house for Christmas lights. Color matched our brick well, but most of it failed on the first cold rain. I used other Gaffers tape last year that held up through more sever weather. To its claim, it left no residue when it fell off, or with the few pieces left on that I had to pull off when I took lights down. 3 of 5 stars since I might have been expecting too much from a no residue tape.

18-04-2025We use gaffer tape for our live sound work for a band. We tape it to the base of the mixer and label what/who is on each channel, and then easily remove it at the end of the gig if the mixer/system is being used by others. Also used to label the many XLR and 1/4 cables from mics/instruments to the mixer, and those used out to monitors for quick set up.

> 3 dayI work in IT. We run wires everywhere, be it extension cords or networking bundles. I have come to love gaffers tape as the soft super-viable alternative to the all-purpose duct tape when it comes to those types of jobs. At first, I bought whichever was cheapest, and slowly my lovely bundles of cords were becoming ugly with residue. After one particularly bad cheap roll which left one of the cords a different color a team member couldn’t take it anymore and spoke up. I was sufficiently schooled in the “right types” of gaffers tape, but I didn’t believe so I told them to put Some skin in the game. So they were going to buy this roll if I thought it was the same. Well, I’m pleased to say I paid for this roll. Just picking it up I could tell that this was softer and more pliable. It ripped easier. It stuck fast to carpet and came up easily with residue once pulled. It didn’t fold when unrolling and frustrate my crew by bonding to itself. I was able to cut into very thin strips and use as a temporary zip tie! Best of all, I found out that you can use this tape to REMOVE the residue that the bad tape left on my cords (also part of my schooling). Team member was in theater and brother still is. This tape is what they use to hold together their sets, and now I use it to hold together mine. Sometimes quality difference is great enough that you have to point out the actual price difference. Not that much extra in cost for at least a 200% better product. Buy this tape.
