> 3 dayGaffer Tape is mainly used by professionals in the arts and entertainment industry to secure cables and wires to podiums, stages and more. The non reflective surface allows it to blend in with its surroundings instead of standing out and drawing attention to itself. It is very flexible, allowing it to have multiple uses, and it peels off easily without leaving any residue behind or causing any damage to the surface you apply it to. One of the things I like best about Gaffer tape is that you dont need anything to cut it. You simply tear it in strips or however you need it with your hands. I always have the worst time trying to hold tape, scissors and whatever I am working on, while trying to cut off each piece that I need. It is so much more simple to just tear off a strip as I go along, without having to deal with extra tools and steps. I used this to bind cords together to keep them from being a crazy mess behind my computer. I used it to secure the wires for our Halloween decoration so the kids wouldnt trip on them. It works well and it didnt cause any damage to them. I also used it to seal a box that was being shipped to make sure it didnt open before it was supposed to. My daughter used it to build a fort for her to play in and we even used it to tape up a costume that was too long so it didnt drag on the ground. It worked great on all the materials we tried it with and held strong each time. I imagine we will find many more uses for it over time too!

19-04-2025I bought this to hide cords for my surround sound system. great adhesive, doesnt leave residue, strong. I tested some on my walls before I committed to taping it up. I could have taken more time to lay the tape neater, but it works for temporary use to keep my cats from chewing the wire. I also used it to label all of my power cables/hdmi cords for my gaming systems. a little see-through but not too bad

> 3 dayI got this to cover a place on my couch that the cats had clawed. Unfortunately it wouldnt stick to the nappy material. But the color was perfect. We attached it with clear twist pins. Not perfect but lots better than it was.

> 3 dayI used this to facilitate rigging connection protection on the spreaders of my sailboat mast. I have not attempted to remove it yet so I cannot attest to removal, but it seems to adhere to clean aluminum just fine. I will update when I have more information. It shipped rapidly, the tape is of high quality, and it does what it is supposed to in context with the use I had for it, that of ensuring that the rigging wires of my sailboat stay put in the ends of the mast spreaders. I used boots to hold the wires, and this tape keeps those boots closed. I have seen masts where people used the tape alone to hold the wires, but I have not attempted that because I did not like the appearance of such efforts. To each his own I guess. This tape will likely enable that operation in as functional a way as using the boots first and just taping the boots in place..

> 3 dayThis tape isnt very sticky, not sure if thats how its supposed to be? It is very thick and durable though, you have to use scissors to cut it.

15-04-2025This is like the Post-it notes for serious tape users. It holds really well... And releases from the surface and the item secured (but not fragile substrates like paper or thin plastic). It has very specific properties that allow you to quickly bind something to a surface, and then easily remove the tape leaving no residue (most of the time). The adhesive is water based, and is therefore water soluble, so it is not for wet environments. I detail cars, and use it to hold seat belts out of the way, and to temporarily hold padding in place on high end cars. Also works to hold up sun visors in older cars that have lost their ability to stay up.

> 3 dayIve been trying all summer to find a good sticky bra or a good way to tape my boobs for summer shirts. Kinesiolgy tape is the best, but I break out in massive blisters, so I had to find an alternative and tried this after reading an article about it for this use. I was really disappointed bc it is essentially duck tape with a cotton cover. It doesnt curve around your chest smoothly and it definitely comes unstuck when you sweat. It is softer to the touch than duck tape on the top, but is still really stiff, so you can see the creases under your shirts and definitely doesnt move well with your body at all. No matter how smooth it might have looked before actually getting dressed, it will eventually slide and crease and look awful, then it will pop loose before the end of the day. Now keep in mind, I did test it by wearing it all day in the 100 degree Texas weather. It might be awesome for its intended use recommended by the company, but not for this. I am going back to kinesiolgy tape, but wont clean my skin as well before applying it and wont wear it for days in a row again to avoid the blisters. It curves well and can be worn in the shower, pool, etc! Awe...the pain of beauty.

> 3 dayAs a multi-op entertainment company we use a ton of gaff tape, weve tried alot of brands over the years but now we only use gaffer power tapes. Not only because its everything they state and performs its function, but also the way they stand behind their product. Top notch.
