I dropped 1 star only because you have to use the Geeni App to set up schedules. But beyond that I am able to use my Google Nest to voice control them. And hey, if I am wrong about the setting schedules in Google home, PLEASE let me know how its done.

Easy to install and use. And it worked for a while. But now it won’t connect to the internet.

After struggling to get a different brand of smart plug connected to my wifi, to no avail, I bought this and tried again. This was so much easier. Connection to my network was quick and straightforward. It just connected like it was supposed to. I connected this to my google home app where I manage all my smart devices, and each plug is independently controlled on/off or scheduled, though to use the schedule feature, you have to use the devices app. As with all these smart devices, this is only compatible with 2.4ghz band, so you may need to temporarily disable your networks 5ghz band to get this connected. After its connected, you can turn the 5ghz band back on.

The save exact product I ordered some time ago but under a different name. The last one crapped out after some time and this was the replacement. Of course, that made it easy to install and set up as I had done it prior. Heres to hoping this one performs better.

I had high hopes for this but it took me forever to install since one of the sides would not loosen enough for the wires to be placed through. It took a dozen attempts and different people to try to finally make it work. Once in, I set it up but realized once you plug in a USB, you can use up to one of the regular plugs but you cannot use the second plug since there is no space from the USB being in use and taking up space. I bought this to use my Alexa with but Alexa will turn off all but the USB so it defeated my purpose. I wish I could return it.

I bought 6 of them they are great. The only con is that they are on the big side, if you have a electrical box that has more than three wires in them they will not fit or will be a very tight. They will not fit in a cut in box.

I received the outlets and installed them easily in to the boxes in my house with no problem. I was able to easily link them to the Geeni app and Alexa. The problem I had was the box was missing the faceplate screws. I figured no problem, I will grab some white faceplate screws out of my collection and put them in. Lo and behold the outlets are not tapped for standard #6 faceplate screws. I contacted Geeni and was told to return them to the place of purchase for exchange. I contacted Amazon and quickly received a new set of outlets and of course no faceplate screws. Contacted Geeni again and after being placed on hold twice was told return them and buy them directly from us. Not going to happen. I am now going to try and find some screws that will work and paint them white. Great outlets but poor quality control at the factory as far as hardware is concerned. Great experience with the vender Tech Essentials and with Amazon but not so much with Geeni. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

i really like this smart outlet. it pairs well with my Google Home. i can set timers and turn it off/on remotely (with app). The only issue i have is that after a power outage, a manual reset is required for the outlet to function. this is unfortunate, i have placed this outlet behind a very heavy piece of furniture and now have to move this item to reset the outlet after a power outage. the reset process itself is quite easy (press the button on the front of the outlet)

I purchased 2 of these outlets and both have the same problem. I had an electrician install them because they were replacing switched outlets and I wanted to confirm we were installing them correctly. The electrician could not get either of the Geeni outlets installed. The screws did not back out far enough to wrap the wire around and then would not tighten enough to hold the wire. On one, the screw broke off after half a turn trying to tighten onto the wire. On the other, the electrician could not tighten the screw tight enough to hold the wires and he was able to pull the wire off without effort. This could be a fire hazard. Im returning them both and Im bummed because I was excited to be able to use them. But, when a professional cannot get them installed safely, then theres a problem. I tried calling Geeni, but cannot find out whether this is a known issue or just a bad batch.
