What a good speaker! For the price $145 dollars, it is a great deal. I use to buy Bose speakers but I decided to give Harman a chance. I have tried other HK speakers and amplifiers and I know this is a good company with good quality products. My personal opinion, this is a great deal and your best option. Before buy the HK, I got a Amazon Echo plus and the sound quality was really disappointing. So, I had two options: bose revolve or HK Onyx 4. I considered JBL Pulse, MegaBoom, and others but comparing price and functionality I found that HK is the best option. Some people complaint because it is too big and maybe for them it is not portable, but Im not looking for a speaker to go out, I was looking for the best sound at the best price. Additionally, I got portability. This new model has a 8 hour battery, the size is not too big but it is not small like a sonos or other speakers. I found that this model has a multi speaker option, so you can connect up to 4 speakers at the same time. In conclusion, this is a very very good bluetooth speaker, with a good battery (8 hours, enough for a party), quick connect option and multi speaker option. Very complete device!

Overall, Im very satisfied with my purchase. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. Sound quality is fantastic. Also has a aux port if you dont want to/ cant connect via Bluetooth. Plus, if youre having a party you can link up with another Harman Kardon speaker for better, louder sound.

I have a studio 3 in the garage and when my gf said she wanted a BT speaker in the bedroom to replace her broken one I decided to get one of these. I tried linking the Studio 3 and the Studio 4 and could not figure it out after about half an hour of trying, kinda sucks as it would have been cool for parties, I didnt buy it for that feature but they advertise both speakers as being compatible with the connecting feature, just not the same thing i guess. I was able to get both to play using my samsung phones dual play feature.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this wireless Bluetooth portable speaker. The sound is much clearer and more powerful than the 3 others I tried, including the Bose Soundlink Revolve Plus which sells for $250+. Regarding the term portable - this speaker is larger and heavier than most portable speakers on the market, and I do NOT use it outside. For my needs, which is to have great-sounding music in any room, within the confines of my apartment, it is perfect. While it is not multi-directional sound, like the Bose Soundlink Revolve+, the sound quality is so superior, it renders that feature unimportant. For now, I have one of the HK Onyx Studio 4 wireless speakers, but I plan to buy another one, and two will link together to give true stereo sound. Still, even with just one, it is fantastic. The only small criticism I have is the way the volume buttons are difficult to locate/see. It requires good light and/or feeling around for them on the top of the speaker to find them. My fix: I set the speakers volume up to the highest level, and then use my iPhone (or my laptop, if Im paired to that) to control the volume - which works very well.

The sound are really good

I really love the Harmon kardon speakers. It’s is so relaxing to listen music at anytime, just taking it everywhere and anywhere I need it. The product is so great I purchased four of the speakers, one each for my 3 daughters as Mothers Day gifts. And the price was so much cheaper than Best Buy stores.

I previously had a Studio 3 speaker, heard it playing in the Sprint store and was blown away, I had never heard a small bluetooth speaker so clear and full with a nice bit of bass to back it up. I had that speaker for about 6 years, had it playing at work all day long on top of my tool box in a shop environment, toted it home to use wherever I was working around the house. I estimated by the amount of hours it played at work every day during a normal work week, not counting all the time it played here at home, well over 10,000 hours of play time, before one of the woofers finally failed. The battery life was never impressive but it pretty much always stayed plugged in where I was using it, as it was directly stated its more of a static speaker, it was never touted as a long play battery power bluetooth speaker. I know of almost a dozen people who have bought one after hearing mine at work and were blown away with the sound quality, and they all love theirs as well. So, naturally, when mine finally wore out, I replaced it with an Onyx 4. About the only thing different between the two, is the power up sound, and the passive radiator button color on the back. Otherwise they look identical. And my Onyx 4 sounds exactly like my Onyx 3. The added bonus is that with this new speaker, the battery life is good. There have been a few days Ive set it on top of my box at 7AM and forgot to plug it in, and it was still playing when I went to put it back in my cabinet at the end of the day. For the price, this thing is amazing. Im sure there are louder, harder hitting bass speakers out there, but not in this price range.

Very rich sound for my Pandora Bluetooth connection. A little bulky but worth it.
