> 3 dayBought this older model Roomba as a discount/used open box. Great deal. Box arrived and was packaged as new- but no documentation. Not a big deal, just googled it. Machine was clean. Not marks and not dirty. Took a charge and has been working well.

> 3 dayI live in a small two bedroom house and run this little guy daily. It does a 5 star vacuum the first time it’s used after replacing the rotor and/or taking 30 minutes to clean the parts. After one or two vacuums (1400 sq feet), the performance is noticeably worse.

Greater than one weekI just installed tile in my house and I am constantly sweeping dust and hair. I would like to say that it is dog hair, but I shed more than a Golden. The vacuum serves its purpose. Things that I like: saves me time and the app is good. Things I dont like: Brush stopped working on day 2 because like I said, I shed like a Golden. Husband had to take brush part apart and pull all the hair. It was caught on the wheels, brush, you name it. It has gotten stuck a few times under tables, and sofa. I wont run it when I am not home. I have to block several rooms in the house because once it gets in there, it goes around and around and around. Recommendation: I think I would do more research on different brands and models. Women have long hair and it can be just about everywhere, so not sure if there is a model that can help with this problem.

Greater than one weekI am very pleased with my vacuum. It does a great job on my hardwoods and transition well three to the rugs. It’s very easy to clean once your finished vacuuming. Comes with great filters that are easy to clean as well.

> 3 dayThis is a great product, but definitely not as good as my vacuum. I do love the iRobot when I don’t have time to vacuum and I do schedule it for certain days which is very convenient. One thing you have to know is to clean it every time or every other time you use it or it won’t do a good job.

> 3 dayI absolutely love my roomba. I have a two bedroom duplex and Roomba is able to vacuum and sweep the entire place. I really like how she is able to vacuum up on the tile as well as the carpet. This means I had no longer have to sweep my kitchen! :-) The run time is about 45 to 50 minutes and she is able to cover most of the duplex within that time. You will need to make sure that you keep her charging station clear of dust or debris or she may have a hard time finding her charging station. When I put her home I just set her close to the charging station and push the home button. The only downside is that you will have to clean out Roomba about once a month depending on how often you use it. It is important to take some of the parts off and clean them and clean her sensors off. I clean her about once a month after running her about three times a week. As far as pet hair she does a good job. I have two cats and a dog and she still does a great job. The roller does collect hair but as long as you clean Roomba out every month you will have no issues. The issues people have is when they dont clean her out or they dont clean the charging station. If you dont take the 20 minutes a month to clean her out you will run into issues. Overall I was a little skeptical at first but I do not regret my purchase at all and I will always have a Roomba in my life!

> 3 dayI purchased this iRobot during the 2020 Black Friday sale to use at my photography studio. It did a decent job on LVP and the rooms that were carpeted. However, it often got tangled in my area rugs (decorative rugs like fax zebra, faux cow, etc....), all rugs with very low or no pile and not very thick. It also would get stuck on a cliff and when I found it, it was sitting at the edge of a low-pile area rug, not tangled or anything. It just detected the edge of the rug and thought it was a step down. So the cliff sensors seemed overly sensitive. I ended up having to use a regular vacuum because the iRobot was too unreliable. First world problems but it meant I was spending more time cleaning than I was on more important tasks. When we moved states, I brought it home to use in our bedroom because we keep that door closed when we are not in there (to keep the pets out as they are not allowed unsupervised in any of the bedrooms). It gets stuck on the carpet in there and does not do a good job of picking up pet hair. Ive given up on it. Im going to toss it out or sell it at the next neighborhood yard sale. We have a self-emptying Shark for our house that does a phenomenal job. So I guess thats what I will be getting for my studio, too.

12-04-2025I never expected this to replace my upright DYSON Animal but Im impressed with its performance from day 1. In the early uses the small size of the dust collector becomes evident but not because my upright wasnt doing the job, but because RoomBa was going under and behind things I havent moved in YEARS! Ive already found the full basket to become less of an issue each use as fewer never been seen in recent times areas like under heavy furniture, are discovered. My only less than 100% is that my run time b4 it runs home seems a good bit below the specs BUT I suspect the run time can be diminished the more times it changes direction and I do have a floor layout that can find it bound up for several minutes . . . I get around 100 minutes <your home may not even need THIS long> p.s. my hair rating reflects Mrs and I have short hair, no dogs or cats. I doubt this would be happy with a long haired dog or cat!

> 3 dayOverall I like it, it does a really good job cleaning and makes sure to get every inch of the floor. However if I try to send it home early, it takes another 30-45 minutes before itll go home, and my app doesnt always work. I have my notifications turned on and havent gotten a notification in weeks. Also, when I go into my app now it just says connecting instead of at home, in a job, stuck on a cliff, etc. But it still goes out and cleansing and does it well!

Greater than one weekAs you can see from the pictures I have iRobots literally littering my house. When they work they are decent. When they dont you may as well toss them. Support is nearly non-existent. They put you through what I like to refer to as a support beatdown where they wear you down over the course of days at hours a time up to a point you dont care if it works or not. My wife and I are both Technical Architects each with 20-plus years in IT. I think we know how to add a device to wifi. When we tell them we have 4 different networks we have tried and have reset the vacuum 20 plus times and it wont connect and it has been connected how can it be a problem with our very well thought out and deployed system which has access points in every room, non-hybrid, but actually an access point for each band on separate VLANs with distinct SSIDs. Foolishness. Then when you get done with a 2 hour support call where they confirm everything you already told them then they ghost you for a week or more with no calls, emails or inkling that they even care about you as a customer. Did I mention I also have the mop? The lid broke on that in a week and wont latch down, so I have duct tape holding that together. Looks sweet for the 300 bucks I dropped. You think when you have a track record of investing thousands of dollars in a companys products they would have a minimal care in the world. Trust me iRobot does not care about its customers. They clain to have all the highest end cool features like the app quality and obstacle avoidance but does any of that make the least bit of difference if the machine wont add to the app you use to control it by? I bought a OKP vacuum on Amazon here since iRobot wont support their products for about 100 dollars and the thing was set up and working in 5 minutes and hasnt skipped a beat. Save yourself a complete nightmare and buy something that either works and doesnt require support or has support that actually cares.
