My parakeet loves it. At first he was not a fan, but he slowly got used to it. Now he always snuggles next to it.

Keeps my cockatiel warm

I have no photos yet, but the item I recieved came with an upgraded cord that has 2-3 feet of protected, fully encased cord. It then plugs into a little adapter thing with a very thin, narrow cord, that then plugs into the wall. Im a little weary of the attachment to the main heater body, but as my parrot cannot reach it at all, it should be alright. Hooking it up to the cage was easy-peasy. Puts off enough heat to serve as a very pleasant hand warmer - not hot, and much warmer than lukewarm. I have no worries of my bird being burnt snuggling up to it, though I will of course be checking to make sure it remains as such. My Green Cheek Conure hasnt quite figured it out yet (she is very young yet, and prone to making complaint over anything new at all, so it takes her a while sometimes to warm up to new toys and such), but she has stood next to it and investigated.

My green cheek loves it. I put it next to his sleeping perch and hes not scared of it. He sleeps right next to it.

Simple to install. No parts that the bird can access or chew on. I installed it high in the cage next to a flat sleeping perch area. The cockatiel sits next to the heater bar periodically. This does not produce as much warmth as I expected. Maybe in winter it will make more of a noticeable difference in warmth.

My two nuggets enjoy it so Im happy with my purchase.
