My bird loves this warmer and snuggles up next to it every evening when his cage gets covered. I put it next to the high perch that he sleeps on and it creates a small area of warmth for him. This warmer is very well made and I would highly recommend it for a bird kept in cooler rooms especially in the winter. Your bird will thank you!

Its obnoxious to put in because the wire is thicker than the bars. I definitely suggest finding a spot and keeping it there indefinitely. Seems like it has the potential to be good but my guy wont go near it. Its been 2 or 3 months now and he still doesnt use it. For anyone wondering, it does NOT get hot, just warm. (Like if they were touching a warm stone.) Im usually weary of fire hazards and what not and this does not concern me in the least. My guy doesnt seem cold so I wont bother trying a new product. I think its the budgie, not the heater itself. Probably worth trying.

Easy to use but doesn’t seem to put out any heat. The bird would have to be pressed against it to get even minimal benefit. Unfortunately, my parakeet seems scared of it so won’t sit near it. It’s been a few weeks now.

This works well, emits heat as it is supposed to. I appreciate the design because my bird cannot get to the cord or cause damage to it or himself.

Our cockatiel really likes this on cold nights , easy to clean and just the rite amount of supplemental heat , good product

First I want to say this is a bit overpriced for just essentially being a heated plate. My 23 year old sun conure was very skeptical of this when I first put it by his perch, he avoided it for a week! But eventually he realized that it was warm and I would start catching him sleeping at night pushed up against it. One down side is that there is absolutely no on/off switch, you have to unplug it if you want to turn it off, which for the price point is a bit disappointing.

I bought the small. My grey was a little apprehensive at first with something new in his cage. Once he figured out it was warm he fell in love. At night when I cover his cage it warms the whole thing.

I saw a lot of reviews from people saying its not even hot or wont keep their bird warm. It is not supposed to heat a whole room/cage. Its for the bird to snuggle up to. At first, my cockatiel was scared of it but after a couple days he loves it. I check it every so often to make sure its working and it is. Its just a warm surface that my bird love to sleep next to on cold nights. IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO HEAT A WHOLE CAGE/ROOM. Its a snuggle warmer meaning your bird snuggles up to it.

My parakeet loves it. At first he was not a fan, but he slowly got used to it. Now he always snuggles next to it.
