> 3 dayEasy to use and accurate. However, always double that your batteries are good to reduce chances of errors and always test against a known source too. There are many versions of this tool with different features. In my case I opted for the flashlight which has come in handy.

> 3 dayI bought mine at Home Depot. It is too sensitive, no matter which mode I use. It beeps whenever its within 9 inches of some electrical wire that may be close to some other powered wire anywhere in your house, not just in the area youre measuring. Impossible to tell which wire is line and which is neutral since it beeps on both. It beeps even when around any device that works on electricity, like my desk lamp (see the video). But sometimes doesnt (depends at what angle you are approaching wire) or it does with unreasonable time delay and that makes it dangerous since you may think there is no power when actually there is but most of the time youll likely think there is power when actually there isnt.

> 3 dayThis item is well worth having in your tool box. The electrical tester takes the guesswork out of whether a circuit is really off or not.

> 3 daySpecifically bought this to help find breaks in my 12v garden lighting strings. It detects 110v around the house just fine, but even held directly against a 12v line feeding a light that was glowing, it detected nothing. So, for me, worthless for checking 12v lines.

> 3 dayThis Klein NCVT3P Non Contact tester works really well. IT has two ranges which comes in handy. The biuld in flashlight is a nice added feature.

Greater than one weekit beeps and the light turns red even if the line has less than 1 volt, leading to false diagnostic decision. it needs a sensitivity dial. When it beeps it does not necessary mean the wire is hot!! if i have to pull out the voltmeter to verify its signal, Ill just use the voltmeter from the start. waste of money as it is and Im outside of the return window because I dot use it everyday
