Kwikset Halifax, Door Handle Lever Passage Door for Hall and Closet with Microban, Square Rose in Matte Black

I replaced all the lever sets in my house with this style and am pleased with the result. I saw some reviews stating the levers drooped after installation but I didnt experience this. There was an option to buy new style or old style and I bought the new style. I suspect the manufacturer updated the lever spring to address the droop issue. They do require a bit more effort to operate than the Schlage lever sets they replaced. Also, a bit of work with a wood chisel was required to get the strike plate to fit in place of the Schalge strike.

Purchased this passthrough to replace my front door handle set, from a keyed entry handle after adding a code deadbolt. If the handle sags like other reviews have said, I will update my review.

I’m obsessed!! I got the Halifax ones and they are beautiful, sleek, super modern and they feel SO sturdy! They make our doors feel expensive. We want to eventually get new doors and black hinges, but we are SO glad we decided to go ahead and get these door hardware! They are also super easy to install. I installed them so fast. When my husband realized I was installing them, I was pretty much done. Lol!

When doing a renovation there are so many choices to consider, all the way down to door handles. We were going for a brushed nickel look throughout, and based on reviews here, reddit research, and the Kwikset name, bought 5 regular handles and 2 locking handles and couldnt be more pleased. They look great and have an incredibly solid feel and latch to them. We were so happy that when we upgraded our front door, we also bought Kwikset with the matching internal Halifax handles to match.
