Great vacuum for wood floors. Good suction, fast charging. So convenient!

Bought for an extended rv road trip and did not disappoint. Cleaned everything we pointed it at, and is able to get at all the small nooks and crannies in an rv. I have also used it on my stairs with similar results. Light and easy to use. The container fills up fast and requires getting your hands a little dirty to clear debris off the filter, especially pet hair. No complaints and no regrets with this purchase.

I did read other reviews that blue shaft has problems with cracking. I gave this vacuum a try because Makita brand is Usually tough and reliable. I used this vacuum three times... and I have not had it One week. Blue shaft has several fracture lines, this is a huge flaw. I am respectable and careful with my electronics and tools; to have a product last less than a week is truly on Makita. I did give vacuum 2 stars because suction is pretty darn good... I would not be returning this if it did not crack. It’s now November 3rd 2019 and I wanted to update my opinions about this Makita cordless vacuum. Yes... it did bother me that the plastic hose has fracture lines... but honestly at this point it’s just cosmetic and has Nothing to do with how this vacuum performs. Battery charges promptly, hose and receptacle are easy dump/ easy clean. I use this vacuum all the time and it picks up dirt and fur from a kiddo, 2 dogs and a kitty:) I apologize Makita... happy I did not return the vacuum. Cheryl

Love this vacuum. Its perfect for small areas and quick pick ups. That would be why I bought 3. One for my trailer, one for for home and a new one for my new home coming soon.

I needed a small vacuum for quick jobs around the house - but dont have any room to keep it on a charging dock. This is a great solution. I have been using the vacuum in hand held mode for over a month now, and have not had to re-charge the battery yet. This fits my needs perfectly. I will add that if you need something for a more deep clean, this may not be as good since it only had 3 attachments. I also dont think this would work on carpet or fabrics.

I’ve been using this for about a month. Most of my use is for quick pickups of sand, spot cleaning, or cat litter. In Florida we have a lot of sandy soil. I have 4 dogs, and 4 cats with fur. The other pets don’t have fur, or hair. I DO NOT have carpet!!! This vacuum is used on my tile and laminate wood flooring. If you use this on carpet your experience may be different. I wasn’t expecting much since I had paid $80.00 for a different highly rated cordless vacuum, on Amazon. (Sowtech was horrible, it didn’t pick up much at all.) This Makita cordless vacuum works pretty good. I like that it’s easy to clean, and wash the filters. I’ve bought a better battery, replacement filters, and pre-filters. Later on I wanted to make sure I’d still be able to use the vacuum, so I made sure to purchase anything I would need replace. I do agree the on button should have some sort of lock for the bigger messes, but it isn’t that much of an inconvenience to hold the button. The charger is nice, and plays a tune when you have seated the battery properly, and plays again when the battery is fully charged. The battery does NOT last long. In my opinion, I think the battery it comes with, could last longer. I’ve only had it a month, and I have not had any problems with breakage.

Very light and powerful East to use

bought this vacum 2 years ago works good! not for thick or shag carpet great for hard wood tile or any hard suface works good on tight weave carpet perfect for me i dont have any shag style carpet, just wanted to add my review after reading others reviews. this vacum is great for quick clean ups before moping and maintenance! not for deep cleaning on carpets you really need somthing that has a motor driven roller brush for that. the plastic tank does crack and break as i saw on others reviews mine has some cracks. when i saw the cracks i odrered a spare tank for $15.00 havent used it yet but i have it just in case. very easy to use and light wieght beats having to plug in a cord and roll it up you spill you can vacum it up and put the vacum away in a minute or 2 very nice

This is a great vacuum to get out and clean for that quick mess.

I can not say enough about this broom /vacume. It has changed my life . Its slightly and small.ot fits anywhere. The auction is unbelievable. Its got super suction . I bring it up and down stairs with ease . The white tile bathroom has never looked better . I can grab it for any little crumb in the kitchen, my kitchen floor had never looked better. I really am so happy I bought this . It works on all types of floors. The dog rips apart her toys and it even picks up all the dog toy fluff .
