02-04-2025I needed a cable to wrap around a concrete column in my condo parking deck for my electric scooter. Works perfect!

Greater than one weekWe use this cable as the painter for our inflatable tender. It fits through most large dock cleats and has not shown any adverse effects from the salt water/marine environment. It also does not get kinked up or tangled. It rolls easily, but wants to be straight.

> 3 dayThe cable itself seems sturdy and well made but when I received the item it reeked of vinyl. Pretty sure that chemical smell indicates that some of the chemicals in the coating were leaching into the air and it was pretty strong for over a week. I would look for another brand that has a silicone or rubber coating and not PVC.

> 3 dayThe cable is strong and has a good protective covering that will protect the finish on the tow dolly. I would have given it 5 stars but I have not seen what it is like after a year in the weather. Also the theft warranty does not cover a tow dolly. Beats me because a snowmobile is more expensive.

> 3 dayGot three of these to secure tires, a race kart and stand to an open trailer. These cables are a great match. Had the trailer out in the rain and on the road and the plastic coating has zero signs of wear in a month of heavy use and being left in the elements. I might get another one to lock my gate when were away for the weekends.

> 3 dayWorks just fine for what I need it to. Makes me feel like my crap won’t get stolen as easily out of the bed of my truck.

> 3 dayI bought a Kryptonite cable that is similar to this and really like the flexibility of the braided cable over the standard twisted cable, but it was too short for my purposes and Kryptonite didnt make a longer cable for a reasonable price (that I could find). I was a little cautious about this cables flexibility based on a few of the reviews, but that was short lived once I received it. This cable is quite flexible (equal to the expensive Kryptonite) and very well protected with a vinyl coated cable and plastic coated crimps so that no metal is exposed to possibly damage an expensive item. I load two-three bikes on my hitch rack or in the bed of my truck and this cable easily interweaves through all of the frames and wheels for a positive securing with a quality padlock to a somewhat-secure, bolted-on connector on my truck. Like all good cables, this only provides deterrent-level security since it can be cut with the proper tools; however, that is all I need. If you want to secure your bike to a rack outside and go to work or school inside, this is not sufficient on its own, but works well in conjunction with a u-lock (for the frame) and an immovable rack.

> 3 dayloops are much larger than anticipated so had to get an extra lock or two for that but overall, sturdy, and durable, has come in handy to keep gear locked up in the bed of my truck

> 3 dayGood for the price. Im using it to lock up a boat at a reservoir and it works fine. Plenty long enough to lock onto a tree. Also heavy enough to deter someone from stealing the boat unless they really want to, in which case no heavier cable is going to deter them, they will cut through anything if they really want to. I dont find very many steal small rowboats around here, its way too much trouble for very little gain. They are far more likely to smash a boat in which case a lock and cable wouldnt stop them.
