Master Lock Cable, Steel Cable With Looped Ends, 4 ft. Long, 85DPF, Black

I use this cable to lock up my mountain bike on my car bike rack. Its long enough to lock securely 2 bikes. Ive left this cable outside for most of the time I owned it and it hasnt deteriorated in any way.

Bought this to help lock up my snow blower/thrower. I have an open car port right now and I wanted something to help deture people from stealing. I think this was the best option for right now and think it works great. I have a similar cable from another brand that I use on my motorcycle and this one works as equally as well. Amazon had the best price and was quick to ship!!!

I use this in conjunction with Master Lock Outdoor Combination Lock, Heavy Duty Weatherproof Padlock to secure my kayak to my boat dock. I like the fact that its weather proof and has so far resisted corrosion from the salt water.

This is a nice, thick cable thats rugged and long enough to loop from a lock near the center of the bike around one tire and easily fits through both tires and a lock if you loop the cable through itself. Note the MasterLock logo wore off after one day of use XD.

We bought these to lock up our kayaks in the backyard for a sense of security. We live in a safe neighborhood, but you never know these days. I added a Master Lock keyed lock to lock them up and we run the cable through both hand holes plus around the Kayaks and the tarp covering them. Should keep them dry and secure from just a random thief. The cable says its saw proof and cutter proof, but Im sure a good pair of bolt cutters would cut through it or the lock. You can never be 100%, but this is a good theft deterrent. We might use this cable to lock the kayaks to a roof rack when on vacation too! The plastic coating on the cable will help with scraping any car surface plus the cable itself is flexible like a thick rope so run through small gaps.

I bought this cable, along with a Master Lock padlock, to secure a portable generator. Rather than lock the two loops together, I wanted to pass one loop through the other, attaching to a fixed metal ring, and then lock the other loop and cable together around the generator frame. I wasnt sure if the loop was wide enough for this, but it is. The cable is thick and well protected - it should deter all but the most determined thief.

Bought this product to lock my 4-wheeler down while at deer camp, while I am back at the office working during the week. Bolt cutters would have a harder time with this cable than with a chain, and this is coated so it wont rust. Great product.
