> 3 dayNice length of sturdy cable for locking items in my covered truck bed. Used this on a cross country trip to secure my 2 generators and spare propane tank in my truck bed. The bed is covered with an aluminum bed cover, so my gear is out of sight. Anyone who wanted to steal my stuff could mangle the bed cover and cut the cable, but thieves tend to not steal what they dont see. And you wouldnt rip open the cover and cut the cable without me and the dog knowing it.

Greater than one weekI bought this cable, along with a Master Lock padlock, to secure a portable generator. Rather than lock the two loops together, I wanted to pass one loop through the other, attaching to a fixed metal ring, and then lock the other loop and cable together around the generator frame. I wasnt sure if the loop was wide enough for this, but it is. The cable is thick and well protected - it should deter all but the most determined thief.

> 3 dayWe bought these to lock up our kayaks in the backyard for a sense of security. We live in a safe neighborhood, but you never know these days. I added a Master Lock keyed lock to lock them up and we run the cable through both hand holes plus around the Kayaks and the tarp covering them. Should keep them dry and secure from just a random thief. The cable says its saw proof and cutter proof, but Im sure a good pair of bolt cutters would cut through it or the lock. You can never be 100%, but this is a good theft deterrent. We might use this cable to lock the kayaks to a roof rack when on vacation too! The plastic coating on the cable will help with scraping any car surface plus the cable itself is flexible like a thick rope so run through small gaps.

> 3 dayThis is a hardcore lock loop. There was no way anybody was getting through this cable. Make sure you invest in a lock as sturdy as the cable!

> 3 dayThis cable should only be used as a supplementary bicycle security device, especially if you live in a city. A solid U-lock should always be your primary means of securing a bike and should ideally be hooked around both the frame as well as the front wheel. Then, you can attach this cable to the U-lock, loop it through the back wheel, and then attach the other end back to the U-lock. This way, a bike thief would have to cut through the cable just to get your back wheel, and then break through the U-lock to get the front wheel or the bike frame. That much work is a very good deterrent to any would-be bike thieves.

> 3 dayPurchased this cable to lock my row boat to the dock in order to keep the kids from taking the boat out. It is just the right length for my purposes and because it is covered in plastic, it will handle the outside elements for years.

> 3 dayI needed a decent length cable to go with my 4 bike hitch carrier. While, as others have noted, any cable can be cut, this one will take some work. The cable is pretty stout to the point of being a bit difficult to maneuver. Still, once in place, it gives a good solid feel and the casing that protects the steel cable appears pretty thick and I expect it to hold up well.
